Ok...whats the deal, I've read several posters above say they had streaming and 1 dvd for $7.99 per month, yet when I signed up the only options were streaming only for $7.99 and $9.99 for streaming+dvds.
Either people are full of lies or they were god fathered into an earlier deal/price.
Regardless, I don't see what all the fuss is about since I'm paying the same price for the same service as I always have.
Exactly, a week ago when Batman:AA was $19.99, now its $29.99, same with Oblivion.
They basically just put a "fresh coat of paint" on their normal prices to make it seem like its a better deal.
Nope, I meant minority.
I know I'm in the minority here, but I've always been turned off by open world games. The main reason being the repetitiveness that accompanies open world games.
Sure they are fresh for the first island or section or what not, but before you know it you are repeating the same mission with a different skin.
While I like the original parts of open world games, I can't stand the fact that when it all comes down to it, you have to repeat the same mis...
Really if you have a quality PC and there is no multiplayer element tying you to friends on a given system (and I believe there isn't for Skyrim), then Skyrim should be a PC purchase.
I'm not saying the PS3 and 360 versions won't be good, just that the best version of the game will be PC.
The problem is the 1st party exclusives are the ONLY good games for the Wii...and there aren't that many of them.
I love disagrees from people who don't understand logic.
In all seriousness, the ad is misleading, but its not 100% wrong.
2 for $50. Of course we automatically think buy 2 of these 6 games for $50 total cost.
However, the ad does not includes specifics enough to limit it to JUST 2 for $50 total cost.
Essentially, it is not entirely incorrect if they charged you $120 and gave you a $50 gift card, because technically it is two games for $50 (as in you buy two games for a $50 gift card).

Fact of the matter is it has nothing to do with consoles being "outdated." It has everything to do with companies not getting together and making it happen.
Ask anyone in the computer world and they will tell you that it is entirely possible and wouldn't really be that hard to provide cross platform games (think about it, how else can someone playing with a best buy 300 out of the box laptop be playing the same game and against someone using a 3000 gaming rig, ...
Like others said, DA2 isn't a terrible game, but it lost so many of the things that made DA:O my favorite game in years.
They got rid of the epic scale (which sounds cooler, running away and making a living for yourself or Fighting and defeating the forces of evil advancing on the civilized world...hmmm).
They took away the customization at just about every point. No longer being able to pick your character's race, customize all of your party's e...
The original tomb raider games (1 and 2) were great. If they can recreate that balance of exploration with a hint of action it could possibly compete with Uncharted (if only because it's multi-platform).
Also, it's been a while since I've played the psx Tomb Raider games, but I remember them being more about exploration, platforming and puzzle solving with a splash of action whereas Uncharted is more of third person shooter with a lot of exploration and puzzle so...
Gotcha, I did not realize there was a free tier of the Call of Duty Elite. Thanks for the info.
I'm confused by what they are saying. They are saying 90% of Call of Duty Elite is free. But to get Call of Duty Elite I was under the impression that you had to subscribe to it.
If I can access this 90% of Call of Duty Elite without subscription right out of the box, then fine, I understand what they are saying.
But if they are saying I have to subscribe to Call of Duty Elite in order to access the 90% of stuff that is "free", well then i...
It really was quite possibly the worst analogy I've ever seen.
And to top it off, he stated it was fact...which it isn't.
That is the worst analogy I've ever seen in my life...and on top of that the writer claims it as fact, when it is not actually fact.
Basically he's saying that if an easier option is available (using a touch screen to jump instead of using the buttons), everyone will always take the easiest option.
It's just not true, heck if that were true, many other gamers and I wouldn't play our games on the hardest difficulty level available from the ge...
This is true, but I doubt if the TV itself would be sold at 369 without the glasses and game (mainly b/c Sony can afford to throw the game in at low cost since games have high mark up compared to manufacturing costs).
Simply saying, I doubt they release a TV only version that doesn't include the packaged items.
I'd have to disagree with you, the Sony TV package is being priced to be competitive with regular LCD tvs.
It's being priced close enough to make someone looking for a TV to say, why not adapt to 3D for an extra $150 especially when I get a pair of glasses and a game with it?
To say that its not being priced to be competitive with those TV is naive.
The purpose of the Sony package is to spark the adaption of 3D TV through gamers by ...
No he's saying he bought a 32 inch 3 years ago for 399...so it's safe to assume it would be much cheaper now.
He's just saying that he would prefer to spend the extra money to get a bigger TV than to get a 24 inch 3D TV. That is all, he is not naysaying the Sony package.
Yeah, I saw that too, the videos weren't really clear on the capabilities. But I think on the G4 commentary after the show they said that it won't function as a handheld.
Basically the question is, what is the range on the controller in respect to the console.
It would be cool to be able to play games in your room on the 2nd floor when the console is on the 1st floor.
Ok, I'm gonna be harsh. But I just dove back into PC gaming after years of dedication to console. I love both about equally, but I'm starting to lean back towards PC gaming b/c of the price of games and the fact that the computer I built for relatively cheap is decent to solid for PC gaming (I don't mind paying the $1000 for something I use every day most of the time).
But like I said, back to the harshness, the entire article's argument is "I like cons...
