They seriously do need to do something about that.
I'm still fuming over the 50+ hours of gameplay I logged at home over the holidays in Dragon Age sitting on my brother's PS3 that can't be transfered to my PS3 unless I drive 300 miles back home with my system and do that data transfer there.
They need to fix that, I should be able to transfer a saved game from one PS3 to another without having to have both ps3's in the same room.
I don't care what everyone thinks of the order, but just now going through all those trailers was a half an hour WELL SPENT.
And that Dragon Age trailer was awesome...I just wish my battle with the high dragon was sweet like that instead of me taking advantage of the AI and running back and forth with Wynne and Morrigan attacking from distance after my tank and melee damage dealer died quickly.
This article should have been written after Square released FFXI or FFXII in my opinion.
I think FFX was the last great installment to the FF series.
Edit: Haven't played XIII yet so I haven't passed judgment yet, but it looks a lot like XII gameplay wise which was my biggest problem with it.

That's true, because Citizen Kane sucked balls and was one of the most boring movies I have ever watched. The cinematography and use of flashbacks was revolutionary, but the movie itself was crap.

Why is it such a bad thing that a game is "linear"? If they use a linear style to create a fully effective story/plot I see no problem with a game being 'linear" (which is now negative context for some reason).

I feel like I haven't seen good old fashioned turn based JRPG in years. JRPG's used to be my favorite games back when there was FF6,7, 8, 9 and 10, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Wild Arms, Legend of the Dragoon, etc...
Now it seems like every RPG is either an open world WRPG or a "single player MMORPG" like FFXII.
So IMO it's annoying that RPG are trending away from turned based JRPGs.
But since when is 2.25:1 almost 3:1?
It's much closer to 2:1 and the article claiming it's almost 3:1 reeks of "LOOK AT MY WEBSITE, GIVE ME HITS!"
WCW/NWO Revenge
Sure, everyone loved Wrestlemania 2000 and No Mercy, but I loved Revenge the most. It was simpler and it had the absolutely undeniable fun of the 40 man Battle Royale with 4 player local multiplayer.
I can't even begin to guess many hours I wasted with my brothers and friends switching between Revenge and Goldeneye.
I do find it really annoying playing a clan who spreads out on a map and knows the spawn points so they can kill me from behind right as I respawn. Especially in hardcore team deathmatch, where I have to wait like 15 seconds before I respawn again.
They can just open another PSN account and be back on their merry way (although I guess they wouldn't retain their level).
My thoughts exactly. I hadn't encountered it yet, but I know I'll for sure run into it now.
Same thing with the ninja players (marathon, light weight, commando pro and tactical knife attachment to a pistol; all they do is run around and stab you from about 15 feet away before you can see or shoot them...really frustrating), if anyone has run into them. I hadn't seen them at all, then the next day I see about 3-4 ninja players, and it has gone up since then.
Who here is actually checking their Facebook on their console and not their computer?
But I feel Resident Evil 4 doesn't belong on this list. RE4 was too action oriented and wasn't that scary or creepy.
However, Resident Evil 1 on the PS and the remake on Gamecube were much scarier IMO. There is something terribly frightening when you actually have to conserve ammunition and can't rely on getting it from dead bodies.
I'd consider getting a PSP go by trading in my 3000 and paying the difference if they had a UMD transfer/conversion program.
But the fact that 'upgrading' to the GO would eliminate 80% of my PSP category, it would make absolutely zero sense to me.
What it all comes down to, is if Sony want current PSP owners to shell out money for the Go, they have to take care of the fact that the user's UMD library will become worthless.

Seriously, there are still some good star wars games out there. I really liked Rogue Squadron 1 and 2, I'd be willing to pay for an updated better graphics more mission rogue squadron on the next gen systems.
God...did I love Valkryia Chronicles. It was kinda like Final Fantasy Tactics in 3D. It was awesome.
I'll definitely pick up the PSP title, but I also hope that SEGA develops more Valkryia Chronicle games for the PS3 as well.
