Come on, is anyone really that surprised? I was always expecting a 2015 release date for this and would have been surprised to have seen it this year. Announcing these things this far out is stupid, and now they will have to dribble info from now to release just to maintain interest (such a waste of time and energy, and now I've already grown tired of it, j.k.).
So when is it going to be available?
Why isn't a new F-zero being considered?
I think I'm gonna get the Spyro games, both the Red Factions, Retro/Grade, Tales from Monkey Island, Stuntman, and possibly Crash Commando (and it's still under $10).
I could go for that.
Pretty good list I guess (not to sure of the R. E. 5 one), off topic though, that reminds me, an HD remaster that I want is the Onimusha trilogy (I wonder if it would all fit on a BD). Oh wait, I forgot, it's Capcoms, and now I have saddened myself (hate when I do that).
This is exactly why I prefer physical copies, I'm also included in this percentage, but with physical copies I can eventually get to them in my own time without worry of losing access to something that I supposedly own, all because I didn't get to it on someone else's schedule. Fortunately, I don't have a backlog quite as large as some of the ones being posted here (I only have about 30+ games on Steam, some of which I've already gone through elsewhere before).
True enough.
Eh, it looks fine and all, but...I'd rather support Nintendo (just sayin').
I'm certainly interested, and I probably will end up buying it eventually (maybe even day 1, but that all depends on what else is launching around it).
Beat me to it.
Officially that should be $520.00 or whatever the price for LIVE is, because otherwise you'd just be getting the console, Forza 5, and a drink coaster (for the uninformed).
edit: @disagree, from what I read only the Titanfall bundle at target comes with a year sub. to LIVE, but the bundle that includes Forza 5 and Titanfall doesn't so the sub. for LIVE is an additional charge (is Titanfall even functional without a Gold subscription), how am I mistaken?
I would much rather have a new NBA Street, yeah I know it's all arcade, but outside of the looks I don't care much for 2K14, and I can't remember the last EA sports "sim" I have enjoyed (save for maybe boxing). The reboot of SSX was pretty cool (would've been awesome if it had local mp), something in line with that for Street, yes please (hell, I liked most of the EA BIG titles). I wouldn't get my hopes up anyway, because even if I managed to get the game I wante...
I'm getting Golden Sun for sure, had it back on GBA, and never had the chance to finish it (got it lost or stolen, never did find out what happened to it, and never replaced it). At least I'll get to complete it eventually, now.
This was the only GT game that I have %100 completed, although I'm close to %100 completing GT6 (got the Platinum, though).
Who cares what games someone buys, just because someone buys COD (per your example) doesn't mean that they aren't a gamer that typically plays games in other genres. Who is to say that the sales of games like Tearaway and Brothers aren't also consumers that bought COD as well. The problem is that Publishers are shooting for broader and broader demographics, the whole there is something for everyone, as if all gamers should like the same thing. You say that Tearaway and Brothers so...
@Tomshoe - yeah, that's kinda of what I did (PS4, Wii U, and my PC), while I don't game on my PC very much I'll pick up the odd game for it here and there. Mostly play on console though, and just owning either PS4 or XB1 you'll get access to most releases as you've already mentioned (with most Studios going multiplatform), and you can round it out with a Wii U for the Ninty exclusives (if you're into that). No use buying two consoles that do mostly the same thing.
Same exact situation for me.
I hope he isn't sick or something, terrible news indeed. At any rate wish him the best.
Frankly, everyone can do whatever they want, I personally don't care about this and find it to be a waste of the companies time and resources (but since it's EA, they might not have much left to lean on), just sayin', besides I only have myself to worry about.
