@admiralvic - you also forgot all the f2p (well at least on the PS4), people can kill time with those, while waiting for the games that they do want to drop. Don't know about the X1, but you don't necessarily have to spend money right away on PS4 out of the box and still be able to get a fair amount of gaming.

I don't even care, I missed it the 1st time around, and yes I'm aware that I can have it cheaper on last gen, but I'm gonna go ahead and pick this up day 1. I just wanna support SE, and get a good game while doing it (I wants me some KH3 & FF XV).
I agree about all of the variables involved especially for (as you've already mentioned) sim style racers. Also, my intentions weren't to come off as dismissive of Slightly Mad's accomplishments just trying to point out that up until now few devs making racing games have made that feature a priority and the two games I mentioned, were off the top of my head, games that I've played that also attempted something similar.

The large player count is very cool and all, but didn't F-Zero accomplish similarly large opponent counts as well back on the 64? I understand that it is different in that these are all player controlled, but I'm just asking why has it taken this long for something like this to appear in racing games (specifically player count). Also, since I only recently added PC gaming, I thought Rally Sport Challenge 2 on Xbox also had a large number of on track cars as well, but nothing else come...
The after impact flipping seems to be, but you don't really need a glitch to get this trophy (too much speed and any of the uneven courses will suffice, and possibly a less aerodynamic car).
Hope not, so far, there doesn't seem to be anything already on the game that you have to pay for through MT, though that in itself may be the most damning thing. If that turns out to be the case, I won't pay for content or modes withheld to make an extra buck. Totally agree, nobody else seems to care about it, and also seem to think I(we) would rather play with a bunch of strangers (no offense to all you fine ladies and gentlmen) from all over the planet over the people sitting next to us watching us play. Thankfully, Nintendo sits practically alone thanks to this, they can and seem to be cornering this demographic. Good on them.

Bottom line, buy whatever system suits your fancy. If you prioritize local mp, and family friendly entertainment, look no further.
It's not completely down, I got a 3ds xl for my daughter for x-mas along with, the latest Pokemon, and noticed you could get a free gift Pokemon, tried and was met with the error, immediately tried again and got it. Didn't have any issues with my Wii U before either, so I wasn't even aware of a problem. The outage is more erratic. But, I guess if Nintendo's apologizing it must've been bad (I guess we were just lucky).

I'll probably end up getting everything on that list except Dark Souls II, Titanfall, and the MLB game (although the jury is still out on DS2, because I'm currently still going through Demon Souls, the Steam version, and to be completely honest it might be too hard core for me, this game kicks my @$$).
These developers and publishers can defend these business models til they are blue in the face, but we have the money and when their products or services don't meet the consumers expectations we can choose to not get it. Honestly these people act like the entitled ones, the best they should hope for is to put out a good product (that people want), and let them decide, not nickel and dime the consumers that they manage to sucker in.
The way I look at it, is that most of the time when I buying my games I look for specific titles and am less inclined to experiment (though it has never been completely out of the question), and at some point titles that I passed over even though I may have had a passing curiosity end up on PS+ where I get to go back and try out something that I may have missed.
"The reviewers get their free copy, but what the hell do the X1 gamers get out of it?!", a big fat D in the A.
I'm actually looking forward to all of those, and then some (as some on here have already stated, I'm also keeping an eye on SMT x Fire Emblem, and Zelda).
Biggest downgrade ever, and frankly I'd feel ripped off considering my PS3 library is stronger than all of what is currently available for Next gen. Hell, you could do better than this with a PS3 and a subscription to PS+. Nice try though.
