Well...I did actually look. Tough to form an opinion on aesthetics without looking. Though I didn't see the special detailing on the touchpad since that's quite a bit harder to see. I'm not saying that there aren't reasons for the coloring, just that this doesn't evoke Vader at all to me. And flipping between the pic of his chest console & this controller doesn't make me go "ahhh, there it is!"
I actually think the standard DS4 is more re...
Yikes, that is an aesthetic travesty to my eyes lol. Also not so sure what about this evokes Darth. With the Red/Blue L1/R1 buttons, this seems a bit more like a 4th of July controller.
I think Nintendo's implementation is absolute crap. If you want to play a game you bought on Wii VC on the Wii U, you buy it again. And some games are only available in the Wii emulated version of the Wii U. PS has you buy it once and it plays across PSP, PS Vita and PS3. Given how cross-buy has worked, if Sony implement b/c on PS4 the games you already bought should be playable there without having to pay again.
I think it's crazy if I want to play my Super Mario 3 ...
It's strange how often I hear this game looks ugly. I don't think it looks ugly, but you are spot on about the facial animations. Those are pretty rough. I feel like Bethesda get a lot of flack for not having an open world game look like The Order 1886. I ended up buying FO4 on my PC rather than PS4 so I'm not sure if some things people complain about are just amplified on consoles. It's not AMAZING looking, and I'd love more visual fidelity, but it isn't ugly - to my ...
Some things look a bit better. Some things pointed out, to my eyes at least, just appear to be "different" without necessarily being better. Minor improvements are welcome, but I'm still pretty disappointed in this game visually. Has no effect on its ability to be a great game, but the big N feels like they fumbled the design on this one a bit.
I don't understand either. They are comparable game franchises in the respect they are adventure games about relic/antique hunters. He didn't say oh I can't wait for Uncharted because this is a turd. He seems happy this has a good review score and that there is another game in this genre that has a history of quality so it too should be good. They are the highest profile of such a genre and it's not like FPSs which come out every 13 seconds. If games are on different platforms...
I have a Note5 , so it was never going to work with this thing. So I spent a buck on one of those exercise wrist straps you can put your phone in that attaches to your arm. Slip the phone in, strap it to my forearm and BAM - Pip-Boy app where the Pip-Boy should be. Maybe I can pretty it up a bit, make it Fallout-y lol.
It is also far less bulky than the actual Pip-Boy prop that comes in the special edition. I'm still not sure of the viability of strapping that on my arm t...
First off, with Fallout they also have a fair bit of underground levels that aren't seen on an overworld map. So it's a bit bigger in that respect.
Bigger picture though, I think that is down due to improving overall experience. You could have an Earth sized game world, comprised of all desert and 4 quests, and it would technically be bigger than all the previous ES games combined. Boring as hell, but bigger. They tend to shrink the world size to give a greater variet...
Rocket League definitely falls under the "simple but good" category.
No Man's Sky? eeehhhh...I don't think that one can be filed under "simple" in any fashion lol.
OT: In the case of indie VR, it is definitely good they are reaching out. On top of "the more ideas, the better" kind of approach to trying out a newer experience, smaller studios can take more of a gamble. If Sony provides any backing or assistance, even easie...
Well here's a cheapish option - with 4 sets in it no less - to consider at $7: goo.gl/G5o6ZR
I bought what appear to be an identical pack of those from a different seller for a couple bucks cheaper. I've enjoyed the original concave buttons on the PS4 controller, as it sounds many do. However that pack might give you the feel you're looking for. I used the extenders (why I looked into these, but KontrolFreak options are too expensive for my blood), then I feel lik...
No no, it's not how big it is. It's how you use it. If you have average size, but a plethora of skills to keep things varied so there is always something to do and new ways to do it - well then you're fine.
Wait, we're still talking about Fallout 4, right?
Unity is actually pretty decent. I have it on PS4 and it is...more Assassins Creed. If you are itching for that, give it a go. The interiors are a nice addition and the game does look good. The addition of incline/decline buttons for traversing environment help with control too.
It doesn't seem a better game than Black Flag, but it is going for a slightly different thing. And there have been an absurd number of patches, which I can attest does help the game to actually ru...
He feels a bit like a internet comment section personified, and not a balanced one either. One of those filled-with-anger for no reason threads - not something I care to read, especially not something I want to listen to.
Feels like balanced discussion tends to give way to people who are turned up to 11 all the time. Some people can't say I disagree with you, they say I hope you die in a tire fire because you like this company over this company.
I can...
Funny you should say PS4 fans should be more vocal. I would say we are doing the "vote with your wallet" approach. That forced their hand to offer an unlimited plan. If it keeps struggling, they'll do what they can to get it in acceptable territory even if they have to accept razor thin positive margins. I'm not sure why that means PS4 fans "like paying for extras". Sounds like your fanboy is showing through a bit there.
Also the Wii U allows you t...
Feels like Nintendo would have had to learn their lesson about needing power to appeal to 3rd Party, as well the timing for their launch. One might think that the Big N, with their war chest overflowing with cash, will push strong hardware and eat a little on each console. Given it's weird timing on launch, this would allow it an interesting position.
Launching after PS4/XBO with similar architecture and more power would mean a lot of 3rd party support. Having more power ...
Sounds fun.
So if I suck but have a good connection, I can now make sure those with skill & a fast internet connection can kill me with no lag spikes!
They should match good players with crap internet against crap players with good internet - innovative way to level the playing field!
Armor color, I reckon.
I understand that in reality reviews need to be up so people see it, drive traffic, generate ad revenue etc. In this case you've got two options. One is to separate MGS5 & MGSO from one another and say you'll review them independently. The other is to wait until the other part is out to "score" it. If you feel the need to write the review & put a final score on it without taking MGO into account because of clicks then - sorry to say - you are selling your journalisti...
"As a reviewer I feel slighted". Well that is your fault, for you could choose to withhold a review score until the whole package is out. Sites were reviewing The Taken King without playing the new raid and only played what was "on the disk" so to speak. They'd base their scores off of "promise", a concept most gamers took exception to. As far as I'm concerned, that's what you did. And if you don't like it, as an informed journalist and gamer, don...
10% savings on top of anything in the store with code: SAVE10.
Got an email earlier about it. You apparently have to be an email subscriber to apply it, but they are actually useful emails (for when bundles launch, and theirs are usually solid bundles) so I wouldn't view that as a detraction if you aren't signed up yet.
