Although there are studies that show religiosity is correlated with a lower IQ. It's religion that teaches the wrong things to children, not video games.
I've found vgchartz to be only +/-10% off when compared to NPD and Media Create, so it's good enough for me.
I haven't played shooters on the 360 too much, but the dead zone on the PS3 controller can be annoying sometimes. I'm not sure which I prefer for precision aiming, but I like the feel of the Dualshock 3 the most.
Just because an engine can "do" something, doesn't mean it can do it at a framerate acceptable for a game. CryEngine can do subsurface scattering, but they didn't actually use it in Crysis for the characters, which would have made their NPC's look much better than they do now.

Yeah I care about this much more for cars. There are only a few things keeping electric cars from becoming mainstream - one major one is what to do when the battery is exhausted from recharging. Replacing it is expensive.
I agree, although I can see how a player would see such a practice as cheating. Nevertheless, this does not belong in a courtroom, since it's not illegal, it just goes against the game agreement.
Sometimes I think MMO players are more concerned with being the best than with just enjoying themselves, and consequently they become too attached to their virtual characters.
Sony never pays anyone, which is why they lose exclusives to Microsoft, who pays everyone. Although sometimes I wish Sony would pay for big exclusives, not paying anyone fosters a better long term relationship with developers. Notice how many developers that made games on the PS2 are going to make games exclusively on the PS3.
Anyway, of course the sales made them choose the PS3. Why would they make it on the 360 if their core market is Japan? It would be suicide.
