Pro-tip #3 (Sorry I had to go with it): Never watermark a picture period (unless you're going to sell a copy) because anyone with photoshop can easily remove it.
LOL guys it was a joke from NeoGAF. This site thought it was real though. Read the forum posts.
Even if the media costs the same, the equipment to make and read these DVD's would be much more expensive.
Usually previews have some kind of information about the game that is being previewed. This doesn't. As mentioned above, it's a wish list.
PS3 is getting a clock with the in-game XMB.
I thought the Wii weather channel was cool. I also thought downloading movies on the 360 was cool. So why wouldn't I be happy to see these things on the PS3 when I don't have the other systems?
I heard you can press Select while selecting your weapons to look around before you spawn. Also, it keeps the last config you used so you can just press start and use your invulnerability to kill spawn campers.
BTW, the article was great, and shows what I secretly think of Xbox fanboys.
I was wondering the same thing. Splinter Cell has usually been a shooting gallery of lightbulbs.
Yeah everybody else seems to miss the point. The 1080i resolution is not for TVs that can do 720p or 1080i; it's for TVs that can only do 480p or 1080i, but can't accept 720p signals. These TVs are older and oftentimes the 1080i only means they can accept 1080i signals, but don't display at the full 1080i resolution.
I believe it was "MGS4 is the best. The end."
It's personal preference. I like free online because I don't play it as much as I play single player games. (Except Warhawk and now MGO). The exclusives are better if you don't only like shooters. (MGS4?)
I'd definately prefer Metal Gear Raiden. I mean, who wouldn't want to sneak into Area 51 to save Sunny? Plus, they could expand on the HF Blade mechanics from MGS2.
Nintendo isn't big into reinventing things.
Definitely. Same goes for Counter Strike.
It took me away from Warhawk, but I haven't played COD4. Though I don't think COD4 has the same sneaking element that MGO does, right?
It's also my complaint against Nintendo, but whenever I say something about it, people get upset. I'm glad someone finally stood up and said something. Nostalgia is no excuse to stagnate IPs.
But Sony helps a single person with no PS programming experience create Everyday Shooter on the PSN. The article is simply saying Nintendo doesn't have the open platform it claims to have.
This sounds like someone is trying to make themselves feel better about the memory limit for downloadable games on the Wii. First, you can't use flash memory for saving downloadable games, and second, I don't think a simple software update would make the Wii be able to read higher capacity flash cards. It could be stuck at 4 GB.
So they basically said that they used Vista to test out new things for the real, major release that is Windows 7. That makes me want to install Vista now, for sure.
I can wait two years.
Yeah really, this isn't a fiasco. "Forums flooded"? On the Neogaf forums, there were about 600 replies to a thread of people who haven't had problems with the firmware update. Only 2 actually had problems.
