The online for COD:Blops should have been fine on PC but wasn't. It is a different developer and publisher though so it might be fine.
I agree, Ferrari Challenge is good, so is Supercar Challenge. They are basically the same game though, just a few different cars.
Other car games I have which I like are : GT5p, GT5, Motorstorm 1+2, Burnout:Paradise, NFS:Pro street, NFS: Shift, NFS:Hot Pursuit, F1:CE, F1 2001, DIRT 1+2, GRID, Midnight Club:LA, Split/second and BLUR.
I do love my racing games.
They should have had a demo/beta for the PS3 also. I would like to try this game out myself but haven't got a 360.
Watch this game turn out poor online for PS3/PC like COD:Blops.
Looking forward to this game also, and hope my GT wheel/pedals work well with it. Thats if you can use the GT wheel with the PS3 version.
NFS:Shift was a good game but not great. I use a logitech GT wheel and the driving was terrible compared to GT5p/F1 2010,etc. The game was easier to play with a pad, but I hate using a pad for driving games when I can use my wheel and pedals.
TDU2 and Killzone 3 are the ones I am interested in the most also. May try the others when the price drops. Bulletstorm demo didn't really impress me much though.
The article says Motorstorm has no online multi-player. I have played online before on Motorstorm.
The biggest problem I have is the cheaters online. I don't mind what people do offline,(can't do anything about others pirating/cheating/modding offline(I don't do it though)), but online it spoils the game for others.
I will never pirate any game for my PS3. I don't mind paying for my games,(most developers deserve the money) and have 85 blu-ray disc games.By the end of this year should have over 100 hopefully. I also would never cheat online as its not fair on the o...
I have had this wheel/pedals for about 18 months now and it works brilliantly with GT5/GT5p. It also works with nearly all PS3 driving games and PC games. Very accurate steering and great force feedback.
It's well made. I have used it for many, many hours and its still going strong.
Got it from Amazon around 18 months ago and it was only £60. Been worth every penny.
This is one game I'm really looking forward to playing. If its half as good as the first Deus Ex then it will be amazing.
The first Deus Ex is my all time favourite game.
I have never played any Mass Effect game. Have seen a few video's and got the demo, and it seems like a game I would enjoy. I will be getting Mass Effect 2 for my PS3 this Friday and will finally be finding out how good this game really is. Going by the reviews, and what people have said about it, it should be fantastic.
52 minutes for just over 4.2 Gig doesn't seem right to me. The install for GT5 was double (or more) and it installed in less time than that.
I don't care about mandatory installs, as they are only a one off and make the game run better. Its not hard to find something to do while games install. (make a cuppa, sandwich, have a smoke, read manual, etc).
Unless you,re playing both (360/PS3) side by side, I don't think you would see the difference.
I'm just happy I can play Mass Effect 2 on my PS3 with all the DLC.
Just Cause 2 is a very underrated game IMO. It has good graphics and gameplay, its just the story is quite weak. It also takes many hours to complete.(I have played around 40hours and only around 40% complete).
Its a fantastic game to just put on and have fun.
It's only a one time install, when you first put in the disc, not every time you play so it's no biggie.
If you can't find something to do for the install time then you have something wrong with yourself.(whats a few minutes, or even half hour out of your life).
I don't mind install's really as my first PS3 had blu-ray failure and by installing to hard drive it makes less work for the blu-ray. Also games run better and in game installs can be quicker wh...
I don't see a problem with FW updates etc. I have 20MB/s fibre optic and my PS3 downloads at that speed. It can download around 1gig every 15mins = about 4gig an hour.
If you have a slower internet connection it can be a pain as it was when I only got 2.5MB/s before I changed to 20MB/s.
Its not the PS3 thats the problem, its the speed of your connection.
PoP the forgotten sands is a decent game IMO. Its better than the last PoP game that came out. The forgotten sands went back to the sands of time/warrior within style, which to me is better.
Some good games there, but the one I'm looking forward to the most is Deus Ex. The first Deus Ex is my favourite game ever.
Its not that I have cruel friends, it was a time I wasn't playing many games and was at a friends house watching while they played. Watching them play got me back into games really.;)
I always buy a game for single player. I play that first then try the multi-player and if its any good then play that until it gets boring. I normally get a little bored with multi-player between 10 and 20 hours gameplay when I've done everything and got every extra in that game. I have had multi-player games that I've stopped playing after a few minutes, 'cause they were so bad.
There have been a few games where multi-player has been better than single though, eg BFBC1+...
