I know this is a bit off-topic, but been watching a film on fiver (UK digital channel) and every adverts (15mins or so) there was an ad for KILLZONE 3, sponsoring the film. There were a few different ones showing about 10seconds gameplay.
Good to see Sony are showing the game on TV.
This doesn't bother me. I never buy collectors editions etc, just the game.
If they did make one it would be nice for those who do buy them though.
I will get this when I have a little more money.
Just wondering, can I use my Logitech GT wheel and pedals with this game on PS3? I'd rather use my wheel than a pad.
Thats all I noticed about Kite22's comment, grammar and spelling, not what he was talking about.
I'd love to find out myself, as I'd buy it.
I will play Conviction one day on PC (haven't got a 360), just haven't got round to buying it yet. I have so many other games to play and finish.
One day though I will play it as I love the Splinter cell series.
Its times like this I wish I hadn't played these games. I have played every Splinter Cell game (except conviction) at least twice.
If I hadn't played them before I would get this trilogy, but I have and don't really have the time to play them again as I have many other games to finish, and others I'm going to buy soon.
For those who haven't played these games before, this trilogy is well worth buying, they are fantastic games.
I'd forgot all about that band (Pop will eat itself). I was 17 in 1989 when I first heard one of their albums, at college learning to be an electrician at the time.
One of the other lads had it and played it for us all. He had it on tape cassette.
I do feel old now.
This year is looking amazing for games. Every year that goes by seems to get better and better.
Just got to say, this article fails on so many levels its unbelievable.
Just a big 360 fanboy article full of nonsense.
Out of those games listed I have Mafia2 and Medal of Honor. I wasn't disappointed with those at all, I had a good time playing them. They both could have been a little better, but they weren't disappointing.
I played Borderlands alone for about 10 hours or so then got YLOD. I enjoyed it, even playing by myself. I will have to start the game again, but don't mind as I loved it.
I don't know when I'll get round to playing though as I have many games to finish that I'm half way through.
Another Borderlands is good news for those who liked the first, I know one day I'll get it.
I have MoH limited edition and on the cover it says "Beta invitation included". "Limited time offer. See back for details".
On the back it says, "Beta offer availability within 12 months of MoH release". Also you need EA account, game registration with online pass serial code and acceptance of beta agreement. Beta will be available for a limited time only.
I'm in UK and didn't need to pre-order.
I wish I knew where to get a controller like the one in my avatar. Its the perfect size and shape. I'd love to get my hands on one. ;)
The PS3 is more blurred, but the 360 has more noticable jaggies. This makes the PS3 versions lines look smoother.
There is not enough difference to complain about. You'll get as much enjoyment out of this game, whichever version you buy.
Unless watching them side by side, no difference would be noticed.
This has made me want the game now. I wasn't so sure before, but after seeing that I will be buying day 1.
I hired Darkness when it first come out, and really enjoyed it. Its very cheap now and anyone who hasn't played it can get it for less than £5 used.
I would like to see another one.
They need to get the driving physics better on this. Driving with a wheel on Shift wasn't very good. The cars were too drifty/slidey. The game itself was good, it was just the driving.
Graphics do matter, but most games now on PS3/360 are good.
To me the difference in multi-platform games graphics, eg, RDR,Mafia2, don't make any difference to me. Extra grass etc, don't make the game any less enjoyable on PS3 than 360. Differences like that are negligible to me.
Same with PC games. Playing in 1080p at 60+ fps, doesn't make the game (most games) any more enjoyable than playing at 720p at 30 fps. They still look (only a sleight difference) and play ...
