Haven't tried Resistance2 yet but got Fall of Man with my PS3 and it was the first game I played and finished. I loved FoM but didn't get 2 for some reason, I think its cause some didn't think it was as good as FoM. The third game has got my interest back into the series and will get 2 now it's only £10. Looking out to see how the third game will turn out.
I don't really care where the next GTA is. I played San Andreas and loved it. Watched someone play Vice City and loved watching. I got GTA 4 and enjoyed that, also got Episodes from Liberty City and am still playing those. Half way through RDR also which is great.
I'm sure, wherever Rockstar use in GTA5, it will be great. I trust them.
I have got Chronicles of Riddick, but not played it yet. Rented The Darkness and nearly finished that. Those are the only two games I am interested in on that list.
The Darkness is very cheap now (seen it for less than £5) and is worth getting for those who haven't played it. Chronicles of Riddick is also worth getting at a cheap price as you get two games on the disc, I got mine for around £15 over 6 months ago. I have started the game but only played around half an h...
I agree. I have 85 blu-ray disc games and over half are multi-plats. There are many great multi-plat games out, not playing them is missing out.
Dead Space is one of those games.
I have seen more ADS for Kinect than anything else ever on TV. Nearly every 15 minutes I see an AD for it.(on channels that have ads). Not suprised its selling well with all that publicity.
I don't care for CFW or pirating PS3 games myself. I will be buying my games and using my PS3 as intended by Sony. I have a good collection of PS3 games, (85 last count) and will only buy original ones. Nothing like having the original copy, case and cover.
Here in UK, games drop in price quickly. If you can wait a while to get a game then there's no need to pirate as the game becomes cheap enough.
Hope it turns out a good game. I love the Silent Hill games.
Both games look fantastic to me. I will be getting both and enjoying them on my PS3. Even though I have a good enough PC to run Crisis 2, I'll still be getting it for PS3. I just prefer to use PS3 for gaming.
I got my GT wheel from Amazon (UK) about 1 year ago, maybe longer. It was only £60 then. Got it to try with GT5p. It is a fantastic wheel for the price, and works with many PS3/PC games.
The games I have used it on which work well are:
GT5p, GT5, F1:CE, F1 2010, GRID, DIRT 1+2, Ferrari/Supercar Challenge, Midnight Club:LA, NFS:Pro Street/Shift, but on NFS:HP there is a very big dead zone on the steering. You can turn the wheel 30/40 degrees either way from centre before...
I am on my fourth PS3, this gen is very poor for reliability. 1st blu-ray failure after about 1 year, 2nd YLOD 6 month later, then another YLOD about 1 year later, now my fourth is doing well.
I take very good care of them, well ventilated and clean, just seem to have been unlucky.
They have all been well used but I shouldn't have had to have 3 refurbs in around 3 years.
Sony have been good to me though, the first refurb cost £145, but the 2 more I have got...
I loved doing headshots in MoH while sniping. Was fun to watch the heads explode in blood.
I would only buy those 2 games also. Nothing else interests me on the 360. On PS3 though there are more than 10 (Exclusives)games I am wanting to get next year. I have been going to buy a 360 one day but I don't think I will now, its just not worth it just for a few games I can't get for my PS3 or PC.
I think I've played about 3 hours, then 1.04 patch came out and broke the game(PS3). Will try later to see if new patch makes it any better.
I'm the same. The GT wheel works great as it was made for GT5/prologue.
I got my Logitech Driving Force GT wheel from Amazon over a year ago, and it was only £60 new. That was the cheapest place I found for it. Some places were charging over £120 when I got mine for £60.
I thought Alpha Protocol was a fairly good game. I enjoyed playing it, but it does have a few faults. I have seen many more worse games than Alpha Protocol, there are also many better games.
The downloadable console game I play most is Zen Pinball. I have all the extra tables (10 tables altogether), and its a great game to pass on many hours, with loads of variety in tables.
IMO 2010 was a great year for games. I have purchased around 20 new release games for my PS3 in 2010 alone. Another 10 or so used games. Next year looks like another solid year for great games, maybe even better than this year.
I have had 3 fantastic gaming years (the last 3 years), and have bought 83 PS3 games in that time, since I first got my PS3. I also have got 7 PC and 1 DS game since mid 2007.
@Soundslike,
You've got what I'm on about, You're right. I'm on about how driving in GT5 using wheel and pedals with the physics in the game is very similar to what its like driving really.
@Shinobi602,
I am not on about the feeling of driving (G-force, etc) as you can't replicate that in a game, just how you have to turn, accellerate, brake etc is very similar between GT5 and real life driving.
I have got Brothers in Arms:Hells Highway, The Club, Dark Sector and Chronicles of Riddick, and they are all good games and can be found cheap now.
I have been wanting IL2:Sturmovic but it hasn't come down in price enough yet. I will get it one day though.
I was going to get Operation Flashpoint but decided not to as I read it had lots of problems. Hoping the new one coming will be better.
The one game I have played a lot is The Club. When it first come out I ...
