That would be an odd name considering that FFXV doesn't actually featuring any QTE.
Wada is no longer the CEO. lol.
TBH him and his team are not utilized at the moment, so Square has to put them up to something--and it's either this or Final Fantasy XVI, and I'd much rather Toriyama make FFX-3 than FF16.
It's sad that the last thing he worked on before his hopsitalization was FFXIV 1.0 :|
As much as I want it for PS4, there's a stronger chance of it being on Vita, my gut feeling tells me. Though I hope to god they'll make it for PS4 instead. Could you imagine Spira's beautiful world, in PS4's quality of graphics? Simply amazing.
Well, this strongly...strongly, hints at X-3. After all, the Last time Square Enix released something like this, Final Fantasy XIII-2 happened
@NiteX
Even if he did mean FF7 and 8, they were originally released PS1 and PC, and those versions currently don't run on modern PC's or any resolution above 640x480, so even though I'm sure Square did make a quick buck for not much effort, putting them on Steam with technical updates so that the PC Versions would run on modern PC's just seemed like a good thing to do anyway.
Really? Have you not seen the FF7 mods people have out there for the PC version? They're amazing!
They aren't really losing him. lol. He still plans on working for Square as a part time freelancer instead of being on payroll.
@DarkBlood, we probably won't, and it's a shame. I've been play Digimon adventure on PSP in Japanese and it's the game fans have been wanting for years.
Hopefully a Sequel to Digimon Adventure for PSP, about Digimon 02.
X-2's story was not that great, but I find it hard pressed for anyone to say the battle system wasn't enjoyable. The battle system was awesome, if only the story would've matched up and possibly more playable characters, it could've been even better.
There's no way it can be scrapped at this point, after all the FF15 trailer at e3 was running on a modified version of this engine.
I really like FF's and I never was a huge fan of MMO's but I have to say, the high level of quality and fun this game is completely won me over. FF14 is definitely worth playing.
It actually quite a lot better than emulated version due to the improved textures, smoother animations, lighting, effects, and remastered soundtrack. Square really did a good job with this one.
Already love it on PC, and will love it even more on PS4, and I will definitely be playing it on my PS4 as well. I honestly feel as though FF14ARR is the best FF in the main numbered series since X, though it's a shame many don't enjoy it simply because it's an MMO.
Serah and Lumina are both in this trailer, however, Serah was in the trailer. Serah is in fact *SPOILER ALERT STOP READING IF YOU HAVENT BEAT XIII-2* dead, however, what you're seeing is Serah's soul. Lightning is tasked with being the savior of souls. That's why a lot of dead people from XIII and XIII-2 are returning...it's their unresolved spirits.
"they Scrapped the Fabula Nova Crystallis thing"
That's funny, i could've swore the first 20 seconds of Final Fantasy XV's PS4 announcement trailer at e3 even said "Fabula nova Crystallis" on it:
http://www.youtube.com/watc...
pause the video at 0:10 and explain to me again how this isn't a Fabula nova Crystallis game when it even says on the ...
A western Final Fantasy would be an interesting idea, But do NOT make it an official FF#. Instead, what they should do is make subtitle it Final Fantasy: <Sideproject>, and model it as if it were making a legitimate Final Fantasy, and to create a fun experiment and new entry for FF without necessarily touching the "true" FF brand by giving it a number.
They're more than likely out sourcing for Art Assets, They outsourced parts of Final Fantasy XIII-2 to Tri-ace. They do this to prevent too many of their in-house workers from working on one project which wouldn't allow them to work on anything else.
