I'm curious as to why people in the West are always so critical of the unique hair and clothes of Final Fantasy. For starters, it's nothing new if you've seen literally any anime ever, and secondly, it's actually very refreshing compared to what we're constantly spammed with in Western games: A Dude with brown hair or shaved head with a 5 o'clock shadow. Can't recall the last Western game I played where the main character didn't have Stuble.

I remember following new FFXIII info on Famitsu before that game came out and I remember thinking "Why the hell are the screenshots so low res"

That Kalkano does love trolling FFXV articles with comments about how "If it's not turn based it's the worst game ever", and while I love Turn based I do think the real time system of XV is a smart move to create a seamless world.

Past FF's were very open and had massive worlds but no one would really call them 'Open world' games per-say. FFXV has been designed from the ground up with an open world mind, just judging by the TGS trailer, you get a huge vibe of just how impressive (size wise) the world is.
50-60% isn't as bad as you may think depending on what the remainder is. Remember that the first 50% of the work is just establishing the engine and the fundamentals of the game. They also wouldn't be releasing a demo so soon if they weren't sure the game would be releasing within 6-12 months. No company puts out a demo for a game coming 365+ days later.
To put it in prospective, Type-0 is 80% complete right now, and it'll be a 100% by March. Which means FFXV,...

Dude I am in fucking tears. This is literally the Final Fantasy I've always dreamed of playing. The gameplay and graphics here didn't just meet my expectations, it exceeded them

MRMagoo - depending on the extent of hacking they can do with the map files, then they can actually change the level design...Which is why if this game does happen for PC, in 2 years we could be looking at an FFXIII that's gameplay is heavily improved.
For what it's worth, Modders can actually do a LOT to improve Final Fantasy XIII. If you've seen with what they can do for Final Fantasy VII.
If we can decrypt enough of the scripts, Modders can even do as much as restructure the battles for a traditional turn base ATB, allow you to level all classes from the Start, allow enemies to drop gold, Add new quests, and much much more.

It may feature an evolved version of something like the mirage arena in Birth by Sleep. Perhaps It could be a competitive or cooperative separate experience where you can play as various characters from the KH series in it's own separate component which could be awesome
I, for one, certainly want Final Fantasy XV a lot more than Kingdom hearts III. KH is great, but a true Final Fantasy is much longer over due, it uses an evolve version of KH2's battle system (it's much more tactical when you consider you can switch party member's on the fly), and the fact that story is much more darker and mature than KH could ever be.
I understand being excited for KH3, but if FFXV lives up to all it's promises, the game might just be a revo...
There is One concern I have with an FF7 remake.
It's the fan reactions. If square enix was to do an FF7 remake, it would be impossible to leave everything the same. We're talking about taking a 1997 Ps1 game and remaking it with the same level of graphical quality as a cutting edge graphics technology game like FFXV.

Personally, that's what I wanna see more than anything from Mistwalker.
The problem is, Vita can't run the game in it's current state. This remaster is actually using a few aspects of XV such as the lighting engine which is why Type-0 has such incredible lighting effects.
So they'd have to do a lot re-working to get this game to run on Vita.
