At this point they can release it as a Sega Genesis game, I just really wanna play a new Final Fantasy aside from the Lightning Saga.

You most likely already have considering he was a scenario writer for Final Fantasy VII and X.
With that said, he's not a good director. He should really go back to Scenario writing.
Backwards compatibility through Gaikai was actually a really smart decision. Coding a Cell processor emulator would be hard as hell and extremely difficult to perfect--and then for PS5 they'd have to do the do the process all over again for PS1-4. With Gaikai/Cloud processing, They will be able to offer PS1-3 games in full quality with no emulation quirks for PSVita, PS4, Sony Tablets and Phones as well as PS5 and beyond without increasing the cost of PS4 or any console after it.

Dude trust me, there pretty much isn't *any* confirmed game you can name right now I'd want to play more than Final Fantasy Versus XIII
well, keep in mind it's a remake, not a remaster. This game isn't like the simply Higher resolution nicer textures. You can tell by the comparisons screenshots it a 100% redone, remade game, thus full price at $60 isn't too bad--especially considering the game is also coming with new improvements and additions to the gameplay.
And I can't believe anyone would expect a fully remade game to be same price as a remaster anyways.
hopefully 2.5 AND KH3. I'm just going to say right now, I'd rather have both. Birth By Sleep and KHII in HD? I don't think I could turn that one down, even if it meant a faster dev time for KH3
Let's get one thing straight:
Square Enix is not talentless at all, Toriyama is just a really bad game designer for the main series. The Company itself still has LOTS of great talent...Unfortunately they're being lead by a guy who doesn't know what he's doing. He's not terrible, a lot of these he's come up were fun and original ideas like Dress Spheres and Catching monsters in XIII-2, but these aren't ideas that should be in mainstream FF titles. ...
I hope Square uses this technology to create an amazing Final Fantasy XV for next gen.
Third game in a row? It wasn't really used much in XIII-2. It was only the battle theme for New Bodhum 700af, which you don't even have much to fight there. Unless you're confusing Knight of the Goddess with Blinded by Light, which sound sort of similar in the tone but have a different melody. For 80% of the game, The 'The Last Hunter' is the battle theme.

No.... I understand that not many people like the XIII trilogy but you cannot possible blame every small disappoint at Square on it. It would've really placed the game back about 6-8 months extra to remake 358/2 days in HD, which Square CEOs probably weren't liking because they want the game to release at a certain time for financial reasons.
This was the original plan, however in order to get the game out in timely manner they had to cut it. However, Nomura still wanted to offer fans 358/2 days in HD, so he opted to remake the game's cut scenes in HD instead.
There are still high hopes he will have an HD remaster of Birth by Sleep for the inevitable KH2.5 HD.
Most of the anger came from the fact that when we first introduced to Wind Waker we assumed that it wouldn't be the sort of Zelda experienced we would enjoy but it turned out Wind Waker was one of the best experiences Zelda has to offer. The Art style also allowed for a new type of expression and interactive world. Most Nintendo Fans regard the game as legendary in quality.

Is there any need to downtalk/insult these people just because you don't particularly agree with their choice? Even though I am slightly surprised she's the most popular, I thought more people would've choose Yuna or Tifa, it's still their decision and their liking.
Could Final Fantasy Versus XIII be renamed FFXV? Yes.
Will it lose it's Fabula Nova Crystallis roots? Not likely.
I also do not understand why anyone hates Fabula Nova Crystallis. It's actually not bad at all then again, none of you have ever played a game in the FNC other than the Lightning Saga--if you know enough Japanese to try Type-0, then I highly recommend it.
You can both block/dodge in this game, this has been confirmed.
The new character revealed seems to be an NPC/story character, not a playable one.

Fun fact: If you buy a used game, *NONE* of that money goes to the developers. It goes back to the vendor, in example, Gamestop. This is why Gamestop will always try to convince you to buy a used game instead of a new one. This is also why there was talks of trying to limit used games and stuff.
Used games aren't significantly different than Piracy to the developer.
