Right.
Because you've played Versus to be able to honestly testify that.
definitely. I can spend hours adventuring, and discovering new things in the Historia Crux.
Actually, it looks like rumors we read much hold true:
“It’s being developed like a remaster, but the visuals will be much more improved compared to the original game,” said Hashimoto.

The rumors never confirmed a ground up remake they said:
Use the same engine that Final Fantasy XIII and adapted to PSVita.
All that i...
I thought XIII was okay-ish, but XIII-2 is everything that XIII should've been. I am having a blast with XIII-2.
This is without a doubt the best FF since X. The only thing that makes me slightly mad about this game is that this is the game XIII was supposed to be.
Point is, their government is really screwing them over with over priced Taxes when Brazil has the potential to be an excellent gaming market.
I keep feeling awkward when I see return FF to open world... FF was never really that open world, ever. It just gave a great illusion of being open world. But ultimately, you were driven along a path for the most part in all FF's, and even in 7 and 8, you were pretty restricted until you got the airships which was the middle/later half of the games.
People really confuse XIII's linearity as the problem with it's utter lack of variety being the true problem. The ga...
"One of the Best Post-FFVII Titles"
Ramna1 can't be too happy about that statement.
You said you would never play or purchase Final Fantasy XIII-2. So...Your review becomes extremely questionable at that point..
Worst possible gaming platform? Are you serious?
Here's a mod of FFVII I did to my PC Copy Adding Advent Children Cloud:

And that's not even the coolest thing you can do with FFVII on PC. Some people have practically remade the game.
Look at this full AC mod:

No. Sony Published the game in the US and Europe, but they don't own any part of the FF7 IP. Sony also owns some of Square enix's stock, and obviously that hasn't stopped them from on Xbox360 and Nintendo platforms.
I think a DLC ending is planned--or I should say I hope. Even though I am currently loving XIII-2, XIII-3 would simply be too much. I'm ready to begin the unveiling of FF15 and the release of FF Versus XIII.
As excited as I am for Versus XIII, and while it does embrace FF in terms overworlds and vehicles, and it will have moogles and chocobos, it's themes and concepts are very different from old school Final Fantasy.
You know, Unless you can show me an old school FF game that takes place with modern Japanese style cities, characters wearing business suits and in a "real world" like setting. Nomura actually said, for these reasons and the combat system back when Vers...
I want gameplay variety. More just hallways, staggering an enemy, watch a cut scene repeat. I want minigames, an epic story, and exploration....
And CONTROLLABLE airships, not airships cg movies.
Pretty much. They complain any time the story isn't stupid easy to understand. I suppose that's why Zombie and Alien shooters sell so much here.
Square is too big of a Company to be entirely supported by Eidos alone. You can argue that critically the games weren't that good, but sales wise, Square is still doing good.
Really? I have used Manual input the entirity of FFXIII-2. Also, if the speed is too much for you, there's a "Slow" setting for the battle speed. The game becomes a lot more strategic. Not as strategic as the older FF games, but more interactive nonetheless.
You can turn off auto-battle, I hope you know.
Agreed. Much like What Kojima said, I think it's Japanese developers as a whole, are currently uninspired. Kojima is really trying to reinvigorate these developers, Miyamoto is doing the same.
It does sadden me to see the state of the Japanese gaming industry. I sorely miss the days when a game was made in Japan ensured it was of the best quality and an original world we've never seen before.
+Bubbles for saying something that wasn't "OMG RELEASE VERSUS XIII" as everyone else responds to how FF should move forward.
