Metal Gear Solid4 went from stealth game to a pure action shooter and people liked it. Same could happen here.
Looks promising for DC fans, but unfortunately I'm more of a Marvel type of guy. Meh, I don't really like fighting games anyway.
Looks fantastic? To be fair I am a little underwhelmed. I do love me some Skyrim so I may pick it up if it is priced right (which it probably won't be). I was just hoping for a different theme. Let's hope its enjoyable and the content feels jam packed.
I am in favour of more content from my games. It isn't affecting the single player in any way so it shouldn't matter. As long as the multiplayer has substance and works then there is no reason for it to not be implemented.
Uncharted 1 was a great single player experience. It is known as a single player game. uncharted 2 came out with a multiplayer component which seemed natural and it turned out to be amazing and only helped enhance my experience. Heck, even if the ...
There is room for both. Why not implement both as long as the game is of great standards in both departments? Multiplayer should not really be viewed in a negative light. Having more options is a positive :-)
I hope it is done right for all the Kinect users who deserve a title with a bit of substance. The problem is the Kinect (which like the wii and move) are too set in their ways and are perceived as casual toys. It is too hard to break that perception from the public and is much easier to roll with it. The Wii is a great example since it has brilliant games like Resi4, Mario Galaxy and Skyward Sword yet the whole console is dismissed by the majority because it is labelled a "casual console...
Ah, thank you very much. New options if implemented well can only be a good thing. Will be interesting to see how this can benefit the platform if they decide to utilise it.
My personal favourite demo is Skate 1. You just had so much time to free skate in an open environment without being forced into tutorials etc. Skate 2 demo lowered your time limit and forced you through a tutorial I think which killed replay value. Skate 3 had an optional tutorial and decent time limit, but the location didn't match that from Skate 1.
You should really save a spot for classic demo's in your future blog. Good read, bro.
Should I be excited or concerned? I like the thought of game saves being cloud based, but I don't fancy the idea of all games having to be streamed. Am I missing something here?
I did get it new, but it wasn't near release so I didn't get the maps and guns. A lot of people was running round with the Famas (pre-patch) and the only way I could use that gun in my kit was to spend additional money which isn't fair.
I had given up hope by then :-(
I enjoyed Sonic Rush on the DS, but other than that Sonic games have disappointed me since the 16bit days. My last hope was Sonic 4 since it was a true numbered Sonic game. I have the first episode and it is playable, but it just isn't an enjoyable experience like the first 3 and has gave me no desire to purchase the second episode.
Thing I hate about Battlefield is the fact DLC owners get to use the DLC guns against non DLC owners. Also, with all the servers that don't suit my own needs it feels I literally HAVE to buy DLC to enjoy the experience. I hate to bring Call of Duty into this, but I can play CoD and not purchase any of the Map packs or subscribe to Elite etc and not feel like I'm missing out on something or be discouraged that someone is using a weapon you can only obtain by purchasing it.
I'm not really a fan of Resistance games, but I hoped this would be a great addition to the Vita for all the early adopters who deserve something ground breaking. At least has laid the ground work for FPS on a handheld. I guess it is up to developers to take us above and beyond. I really am looking for a reason to get a Vita and unfortunately this game is not it. Nice that a few Resistance fans are enjoying the experience, though.
Sonic is already dead to me...
I hate Oblivion. I try and give it a go, but I can never manage to pull off a character that is great at Stealth / Swords. I just can't manage to kill things. I think Skyrim is far better than Oblivion and more user friendly when choosing which type of character you want to build.
Any hobby can have life changing consequences if you let it consume you.
I agree that this needs to be addressed. The goal keepers on FIFA are too easily manipulated, enemies stand in the open and sponge bullets in shooters and the AI in stealth games is horrible. I feel like these games would be infinitely more enjoyable if the AI was better. I must admit that some games do a pretty good job, but it could be so much better.
Too soon for the industry? No
Too soon for me personally? Yes
there are so many titles I still want to play and I really can't afford a new system if it releases. I will not be an early adopter next gen. This generation has been most impressive and its longevity is something to be applauded. I will still personally have a fair few years of enjoyment off this generations games.
Its had its fair share of ups and downs, but there is no better way to celebrate 20 years than having the best game of the franchise as your most recent release. Glad to see them be able to celebrate this milestone on a genuine high note.
Miyamoto is FAR superior
