Do we know if it'll be an unannounced game? If it's only the announcement of exclusivity for an already announced game I'd say it's most likely Silent Hills.
If it's a previously unannounced game I'd say it might be a Rockstar game.

Have you tried to host a shareplay session yourself though? I'd be surprised if you'd be able to share your games with that upload rate.

Unfortunately it won't work on my connection. I have 2Mbit/s down and about 300Kbit/s up. I don't even need to try it.

I don't think they could make it run at 900p/60fps. The workload is much higher for 900p/60fps than for 1080p/30fps. As you said it's much harder to achieve.
1080p/30fps was what I was expecting from Bloodborne so 'm happy with that.
No genre "needs" 60fps. It's nice to have and it's more benefitial for some genres but 30fps doesn't make any game unplayable.
If it was that way it would be impossible to play those games online. The difference for processed input to be displayed on screen between 60fps and 30fps is 16,7ms. Most people have a higher ping playing online. Also the gap of display lag on modern TV is still bigger than 16.7ms.

I wasn't speaking about FC4 specifically but Ubisoft games in general. I don't think they've announced the specifications on FC4. But it's the same publisher that promised parity for AC Unity and the same publisher that locked away graphical options on the PC version of Watch Dogs.
I just think it makes more sense to offer the same content to all platforms and display it to the platforms capabilities instead of the other way around.
Ubisoft should've rather gone with a content parity across all systems than the graphical parity. I hate the idea of platform exclusive content in multiplatform games. It doesn't make any sense to me.
Anyway I'm looking foreward to Far Cry 4.
I think it will. I didn't see a single thing that would suggest otherwise. The problem is that people will probably nitpick on every single aspect of the game that doesn't quite hold up to the bar-setting graphics.
I hope people keep in mind that this is a new IP from a dev that hasn't worked on anything of that caliber before.
Well said. I feel like the majority of people are affected way too much by marketing. They overhype themselves on the allegedly next big thing and get disappointed when it doesn't hold up to their enormous expectations. Meanwhile they miss out on a great amount of awesome games because they aren't marketed the same way AAA games are.
Well I wouldn't get the X1 for Halo 5 because I haven't played any of the Halo games before. Now that the MCC is coming to X1 it gives me the option to catch up on the main games in the series so Halo 5 becomes a factor in the decision wether or not I should get an X1.
It's already sad enough that you don't even realise what you're missing out on by ignoring indie games. What's even more sad is that some people agreed with you.
I guess we'll start getting AAA games early next year. Would be nice if Sony could give away something special for the first year anniversary of the PS4 launch.
Can anyone confirm that shareplay is done via streaming or is a download of a fragment of the game nessessary? I don't remember if that was clarified. It sounds like streaming though as other streaming functions are disabled while using shareplay.
I guess it'll stream in a lower quality which is ok if the latency isn't too high. I just hope that the PSN can handle shareplay.
Yep. I hope so too. Trine 2 one of the most beautiful games I've ever played. It has also improved on the already great first game. I don't have a doubt that there will be a third installment in the series especially now that I know that the first two games were so successful.
It's important to note that the PS3 was mostly reliant on the cell processor with the RSX supporting it as opposed to the PS4 which is mostly reliant on the GPU with the CPU idially only doing what can't be done via general purpose computation on the GPU.
The PS3 originally wasn't even going to have a dedicated GPU at all. It was supposed to run games sololy on the Cell.

@jackanderson1985: Again, The image quality stays exactly the same. You get a cropped image but the image isn't upscaled as opposed to a smaller resolution with the same aspect ratio.
Most movies are shot in 21:9 and it's still called 1080p by most. I agree it's actually more accurate to call both dimensions...

Agreed. The gameplay was definately its most improved factor over the predecessors. On the other hand the story was the weakest of the series imo even though I liked the characters.
Overall Infamous SS was is a great game nonetheless.
