I can only hope the PS3 is starting to sell well. This will only mean the competition will be better and only the consumers can benefit.
I'm about 4 hours into the game and I haven't any crashes, freezes or anything like that.
For something that isn't "true HD" the game still looks amazing.
Where is the logic in that? Who's running this company? Women? If you have the item in stock to sell, why wouldn't you sell it? This is almost like when they wouldn't sell games on the release day if you didn't preorder it.
I see a lot of people trying to blame Microsoft for this. My only question is where does this article accuse Microsoft paying the Actor? As far as I can tell this has nothing to do with Microsoft. It's between Sony and Fox News.
I'll absolutely rent it. It still looks really amazing but I'm pretty tired of buying unfinished products. Normally when there is a good game, I like to show my support and buy a game instead of giving my money to some other company to rent it. Now if only those developers would start putting out finished games they would actually get my money.
Here's my prediction. It's going to be very similar to the last generation. The Xbox 360 will continue doing well in the next couple years and then Microsoft is going to shoot themselves in the foot...again and make a new box. Meanwhile the Wii will keep selling strong to the 8-14 year olds and the playstation 3 will keep it's steady pace of sales for the next 10 years. The only deciding factor of why you would choose a console over another should be your budget, types of game and functionali...
I really wish these videos and everything would get a lot more press. I'm getting sick (and I'm sure other people are too) of putting down $60 and getting a unfinished product. We need to start letting developers know that we won't be buying glitchy or bugged games anymore. And the only way they will listen is if we speak with our wallets. Don't buy unfinished games.
I was actually thinking about buying this game but after seeing these videos I'm glad I didn't.
Just based on that article all those features seem to be getting away from the gaming aspect. I'm still confused on why they would want to turn a gaming console into a media console. It seems to me they're kind of missing the point.
I want a mod the gets rid of the lame vita-chambers. Because honestly that is what totally ruined the game play IMO.
My only question is does this device have the benefits of upscaling DVD movies too? Because honestly that's the only reason I want HDMI at this point.
It's really too bad that the PS3 has to be tweaked to get better frame rates. The whole reason I bought a console because all I had to do was pop in a game and play and not worry about it. If I want to tweak something for better frame rates I might as well stick to my PC.
Well for someone like me who doesn't have a PS2 I would love to get back into the Resident Evil and Metal gear solid games but I don't want to buy 2 separate systems. If I can get the best of both worlds why wouldn't I?
DX9 looks great but DX10 definitely looks more polished. I'm actually pretty surprised how DX9 still looks really good. Considering this is the first game that has been made for DX10, it still has a ways to go.
I would love to get a PS3 but backwards compatibility is pretty important to me. But hell a $400 Blu-ray player would be nice. I think I'll still be waiting for a better deal on the 60 GB PS3.
I swear I hear something like this every time something new comes out. Unfortunately it's not the games causing the red lights it's the crappy hardware.
Personally I think they both look like crap.
This is exactly why I haven't bought Halo 3 yet.
I suppose that depends on what your definition of Immoral is. But preach on brother, Jesus will love you more if you do!
