If anything they should at least allow silver members to have access to the multiplayer but charge the monthly fee for everything else.
In no way was I ever comparing Xbox live to PSN. I was just saying that generally the only way to provide free content is with ad based revenue. You think Sony is just going to front the costs? Get real.

That seems to be the only thing that has happened this generation. As for me, I am not upset or angry that Sony gets "Ghostbusters" 64 months earlier. There are plenty of other games to occupy my time.

I really have tried to like this game. I've beaten the single player, every wave of horde and put hours into the multiplayer....but I can't like this game. Every time I end up frustrated for one reason or another. Most of the time it'll take me 10 minutes to find a game and when I do it's laggy as hell. This patch really hasn't change anything for me...
I've pretty much decided that as soon as my Xbox breaks I'm going to be getting a PS3 so I won't have to go through any of this bullshit.
Honestly, I think both the Rainbow Six Vegas games had the best cover systems. I could be way more precise with that game than any of those ones.
Killzone may be a better game (Haven't played it) but as far as number of people playing CoD4 will have more players since it's multiplatform. (Xbox 360, PS3, PC) Killzone may be the most played game on the PS3 eventually but overall I would say it hasn't taken CoD4's crown.

This happened to me. Here's the problem...It's not the email account that you have to access daily, it's the Live ID. If you don't log into your gamertag or Live ID the email will expire associated with the Live ID.
Apparently there is no way for them to reactivate your account. It's expires as a "safety" measure. Which is a joke. What good is it if I can never access my account again? What kind of safety measure is that?
