Why not me?
$120-$140? Even at 1 game out for 15.95 a month, it's $191 for a whole year. I just feel like people need to "read the fine print" when someone says they're getting a deal. I've used gamefly before for many years and it's a decent service but I'm not quite sure if it's the best deal out there.
Except you still pay a subscription to rent games so you should factor that in as well.
I think they're both ugly.
Still working. I just started downloading from the dashboard.
I wish this was 1920x1080 and then I could use it as a wallpaper.
Well, it does depend on your situation, obviously.
Take someone like me who has a laptop and hasn't had a gaming computer for a number of years. A monitor, keyboard/mouse and speakers would be big influence of costs. As others have mentioned it doesn't include an OS. So as listed it would be a pretty incomplete set up.
You seem really upset by my comment, not sure why.
$550 and you still don't have a monitor, keyboard/mouse or speakers. Going to be difficult to play Crysis 2 without those things.
You're right, the used market definitely has an impact on new game sales. The used game market and pirating games has shaped the industry to what it is today. It may not be justified but that's the truth. Companies aren't going to continue to make games if there is no money in it.
A lot of these type of articles are always talking about the industry screwing over gamers by charging for everything. But the truth is the Industry has been getting screwed by gamers for years. How many of you have downloaded a pirated game before? Seriously.
It sucks for the average gamers but very necessary for the gaming industry to stay alive.
I think N4G should just disable comments for articles and open up a discussion forum.
I traded in all my old stuff and got a slim model for only $50 bucks out of my pocket. It sure was worth it for me.
I wonder why that author feels so entitled?
I don't care anymore.
How is that video homophobic?
Funny. I would assume it would be the crappy hardware.
I think it's pretty simple PC owners. Don't buy it.
Balls. This sucks.
Sucks. But I understand why they're doing it.
Has there been a GTA game that hasn't come to PC eventually?
