My only complaint with the 360 controller is the absolutely terrible d-pad. Other than that, it's fine.
In the end, they're both just controllers. They're functional, and that's all anyone should care about. If a controller isn't comfortable and your hands start to hurt, take a break from playing games. That is probably the smart decision.

Crysis 2 looks mediocre on consoles and Rage looks amazing.
Twisted Metal isn't even out yet. It is PRE-ALPHA, buddy. Many of the most critically acclaimed PS3 titles have incredible graphics and are absolutely NOT overrated.
Gears 3 looks like Gears 2 and Gears 1. They looked good for 2006, but honestly, they haven't improved much since then. The only reason why most people think they look amazing is because they're super shiny. Everything glistens and it's all very deceptive.

It is true, however that PS+ is looking to be a better deal than Live. Sony still needs to add a few things to the service, but for the most part it's pretty good. It's got a lot of room to grow, so expect it to completely surpass Live in the future (unless, of course, Microsoft decides to add even more great features).

And the 360 sure has a lot of great exclusives like Halo: Reach, and... Oh, yeah, both consoles have a pretty barren second half of 2010.
Honestly, the 360 has kind of run out of momentum. The PS3's popularity is still growing, and there are so many more AAA exclusive franchises because of Sony's first party studios.
If I didn't have either the PS3 or 360, I'd get the PS3 instead. Luckily I have all three consoles so I don't have to choos...

Ninokuni looks fantastic. I'm really excited about it since I love studio Ghibli's movies so much. Hopefully it's a perfect marriage of great gameplay and great animation/storytelling.
There are Best Buys AND Future Shops here in Canada. Future Shop isn't "the Best Buy of Canada" since both stores are all over the place.
They are, however, both owned by Best Buy's parent company as you said. They are also usually positioned relatively closely to each other to trick consumers. People actually believe that they are comparison shopping when, in reality, they aren't at all.
