Umm, Gears 3 doesn't look good at all. It looks the same as Gears 1 which only looked good in 2006.
Crysis 2 looked pretty shitty at the EA press conference, and I bet it'll only look better than Killzone 3 on the PC.

At least Sony has shown LBP2 and SOCOM 4 on the PS Move. Both of those games are "hardcore". MS only showed crappy shovelware casual titles.

The issue is that Microsoft showed almost nothing new, and the Natal (I refuse to call it "Kinect" because that name sucks) games were pre-recorded. I'm excited for Reach and Gears 3, but they showed me nothing that really wowed me. The conference sucked big time.
The slim 360 looks all right, but we have no idea if RROD is fixed or not. If it is, the 360 will no longer be a useless brick 30% of the time, and it might be worth getting for people who like about 5 franchi...

I played (and I own) all of those games except for Alan Wake, and I can safely say that they aren't all that they're cracked up to be. They're great games, but definitely not worth getting a 360 for. That's why my brother owns the 360, and I own the PS3 (I own all the good 360 games though, since my brother is too young).
That's exactly what I try to explain to people, but they're stuck in their own little worlds. It sure is a shame.
