Every single Xbox 360 fanboy I know personally has loved Uncharted 1 & 2 after playing them. One of my friends who used to exclusively own a 360 bought a PS3 for Uncharted 2 and said that it's the best game he's ever played.

All three (currently announced) FFXIII games are self-contained. They are only related because they are based in the same world.
The Elder Scrolls games are pretty self-contained. You won't need to play the prequels, but why wouldn't you? Morrowind and Oblivion are incredible games that should definitely be played by everybody.
The L.A. Noire trailer looked like garbage. The facial animations were great, but everything else looked like shit.

It is a mistake because the game's actual name is "Civilization" but it's an understandable mistake.
