Final Fantasy XII was pretty great. I know it has created somewhat of a rift in the FF community, but I loved XII. It felt fresh and different from every other FF game before it (other than XI which I didn't play due to it being an MMO).
While XIII wasn't necessarily "great", it was decent. It was a good 40 hour diversion which is a lot more than most other games released this gen.

Last I checked, Reach and Fable 3 are exclusive to the Xbox 360. Also, every single one of those Kinect titles is exclusive to 360.

I got my 360 way too late for it to really be a worthwhile buy. I have a few good games, and I can't wait to get Halo: Reach, but I can't help but feel that I missed something.
At least I have my PS3 during its golden age.
I agree that the hate is unnecessary, but the worship is too. Halo isn't as incredible as many people say it is. It's fun, and I enjoy the hell out of Halo games, but it isn't something that should get as much praise as it does.

Absolutely. I hate digital media. It feels like my money wasn't spent on anything. I like being rewarded with something physical when I've spent my hard-earned time and money.
I completely agree with the whole MGS thing. MGS4 was incredible. I've played that game more times than almost any other game, but it should have been the grand finale.
I say Square Enix should just release Final Fantasy Versus XIII and then kill FF. If Versus is the masterpiece it is looking like it could be, it would be a fitting end for Final Fantasy.

I'm Canadian and I certainly don't care.
It's no different from all other war games. You can play as Nazis killing the Allies is Call of Duty. You play as an unnamed terrorist organization in Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2, but nobody cares about that. As soon as there's some kind of specification, people go insane. If anything in these games should piss people off, it should be being able to play as Nazis.
