By your definition of "RPG" almost all games would be considered an RPG. You play the role of one or more characters in a fictional setting and of course you fail or succeed according to a formal system of rules and guidelines. Those elements are in almost all games. Hell, you could, in theory, call Call of Duty an RPG.
Mass Effect was a great game. Not amazing, just great. It also wasn't really an RPG.
Gordon Freeman isn't a character at all...
Wind Waker was last-gen, bud.
How the hell did it take you that long to finish it? It took me a solid week during the summer (the summer after it came out), and I still went outside every single day with my friends for a few hours.
Yeah, an amateurish review. Honestly, three paragraphs?
I didn't like the first game, so I think the second can't be much better if not worse. It's all up to personal opinion. I'll try the game, but I won't say whether it's definitely better or worse until I've played it.
Too true.
People are only saying that they are amazing because they are now making a multiplatform game. NONE of this publicity and praise would be around if they were still exclusively making games for Sony.
I love Insomniac's games, but they are far from being the best developer.

Crysis 2 will absolutely NOT get GOTY.
Crysis 2 MIGHT have the best graphics (they are looking a bit disappointing so far, however), the story is being over-hyped by that douchebag writer, so I expect major disappointment, and Crysis really isn't known for great gameplay. In fact, it's average at best.
Sorry, but Crysis is one of the kings of 2010 hype. If it had more going for it than graphics, it might get GOTY, but so far, it only looks like a "look at...
Games used to have less interactivity than Heavy Rain. Heavy Rain is loaded with interactivity, and darkride66 is right. You haven't played Heavy Rain.
10's have been handed out far to frequently this generation. It's quite sad, actually, because it means that people miss out on much better games because they only get an 8 or 9 average. Yeah, "only" is right. People really don't appreciate 8's or 9's any more.
"Bleek" isn't a word, so you have a weak mind and therefore, it is not a word from the wise.
Activision didn't fire "many heads at the company", they fired two heads. Amateurs have too much freedom on the internet. This article is a sign of laziness.
I've actually read a couple hands-on articles that have said that Natal isn't as great as it has been hyped to be.

I'm sure I've read at least one more hands-on where ...
No, it'll go places other than games because it's on the PS3. They're only trying to reassure PS3 owners who are pissed off about the betrayal.

I thought E3 2010 would be awesome next year.
