Making an easy mode requires resources and rebalancing all of which take time and resources away from building the game the way it’s meant to be played. That’s what you people don’t understand. The difficulty is core to the game. Changing the difficulty requires rebalancing the entire thing. It’s not as simple as “give more health”.
And I want an instant raise at my job without doing any of the work necessary to get it.
so Change the entire game because you don’t like a challenge. Got it.
The people who actually play and pay for these games do not want it. Just leave it alone.
That’s literally not the issue.
Maybe we should put auto driving in car games. I mean, how can you lose the race that way?
Good thing Sekiro doesn’t do that.
If you love being aggressive and fast in combat...that’s Sekiro dude.
Millions of accounts had information leaked. No way in hell are a couple of games worth that.
It’s actually easier than Bloodborne. What’s wrong with you?
And lol look you listed 2 easy games.
That they did. My friend encouraged me to buy it because we play together a lot. The rewards are pretty lame and take forever to unlock.
Atleast you can earn enough to get the next pass for free though. Literally the only good thing.
Well. We found the guy who keeps feeding these dumb ass practices.
It’s ok champ. Not everyone is smart.
I know. I was having the big troubs with 3 bosses. Kept dying over and over and was getting infuriated. I knew it was my own fault the entire time.
What was hilarious was I was listening to a podcast while playing. The podcast was discussing the easy mode issue and as they were explaining why it shouldn’t have one, I pulled through and beat all 3 bosses in a row.
I’m getting really tired of this. The games are hard. They’re about learning the mechanics, timing, patience and pattern recognition. The difficulty and dying is part of the mechanics. The games are built around a core difficulty which is why the combat is so satisfying. It’s all built to work together.
Adding an easy mode would require more time and resources to completely balance it out. It’s not just “lowering boss health” or “damage done”.
When you ...
The games aren’t that hard. They’re about timing, reaction and patience. The games difficulty is built around that.
It’s pretty clear you don’t play the games. Overcoming the challenges is what makes them unique. Take away the difficulty and the games quickly become boring. Just watch late game players go back to early areas and cleave through everything.
The games aren’t very long. It’s just a matter of patience and timing in their games and pattern memorization.
It defeats the entire purpose of the game.
Inb4 polygon makes an article complaining its not the female Ironman.
just remember these are the same people who scream cultural appropriation.
There’s a reason legendary is unfathomably hard. The game isn’t balanced for it. Games with difficulty settings often have that one difficulty that offers a challenge but isn’t crazy
People tend to forget that a game that has its gameplay built around a certain difficulty requires much more resources to rebalance. It’s not the type of game where you can just tweak damage outputs. Making the game easier would make half the combat tools and mechanics utterly pointless.
