They’re relying on people not knowing you unlock her in the story. Some people never touch the story in these games. That’s who they’re targeting. Sure WE know you can unlock her but most people won’t until they do unlock her.
Majority of its sales came when the game went on sale for 50% off within a week. It’s player base has also dropped faster than previous BF games and it has the least appealing/lowest player count BR of the games available.
That’s a pretty big fail.
Because the grind is way to big. It takes too long to get simple items. Customization is a huge part of the game now.
There’s a big difference between earning cosmetics and making unlocking them so painfully slow you may as well just buy the ones you want. In this case is what it is. It’s not balanced.

This game is suffering massive feature creep. I backed it for only $30 and got enjoyment from each update but it’s not enough. They’re taking far too long.
I’ve met very few women in my life even remotely interested in gaming. When they are it’s almost always a candy crush or puzzle type game. I have 2 female friends online that play your typical game that isn’t mobile.
Most of the men I have met play games not on mobile unless they’re taking a dump.
