Why would anyone do that when it’s Epic that’s being the bad guy? Valve has the exact same split as consoles do and they’re not paying developers for exclusivity. You know, the thing MS did a little while ago that pissed everyone off?
If they wanted competition the EGS games should be on BOTH but CHEAPER on EGS. Not strong arming customers.

Seriously. I had trouble with 3 bosses. As I was listening to a podcast about these people complaining (them covering the articles not the podcast complaining) I managed to beat all 3 of them in one run.
The game is all practice and patience.
I remember when people asked devs to not dumb games down for the masses. Now it seems the script has flipped. Make em as casual as possible. Ffs.
Yet their games sell millions.
I actually found dark souls far less challenging than Sekiro. Probably because my reaction time isn’t as good any more and Sekiro is all offence where I play DS defensively

The developers make a game a certain way. That way doesn’t include it being easy. The people who play these games agree with the developers choice.

A big part of the experience of these games is being difficult. It’s about teaching you when to attack, when to defend, when to use certain items. There’s a major sense of accomplishment when you overcome a boss in these games. It means you found a strategy, figured out the mechanics of said boss and focused.
Death is also a major mechanic of the game. Making it easy would make the death mechanics pointless thus making it even easier.

Imagine a game about the American civil war but you can be an Asian woman fighting for the confederates. It would be ridiculous.
Theme is important to people. This breaks the games theme completely. There were more children fighting in WWII than women.
