Read Knightfall. Bane outsmarted Batman to the point where taking him out was a breeze.

If you were able to put yourself in the game, why would you ever pick any of the other characters? I think that's what they want to avoid.
I like the "play against people better than you" tip. There's no point in playing a similarly skilled opponent because you won't learn anything new. When I play fighting games, my friend always beats me, but he notices that I get much better the next time we play the game, so when I play people online, I just destroy them because I'm so focused on winning from playing my friend.

Humane. there's nothing like a main villain that is showed having the same emotions as you. A totally shallow villain (ie. mad all the time) is so cheesy. at least for me. That's why the Joker was such a brilliant villain in Batman

Those that like the base game will look for more content. DLC caters to that crowd of gamers. No one forces you to buy DLC, it's when it's locked out on the disc, that's the issue. Because it being on the disc means that it was finished while the game shipped. DLC at least let's you improve the game some more before commercial release of it.
