I'd say we can't call this next-gen if we are still unable to run a game at 60fps when the PC games have been able to for years now. It's not fair because we expect an experience close to the PC with each new gnereation, yet the XB1 and PS4 aren't even close. If you bought an XB1 and a PS4, you'd mines well use that money to build a PC imo.
Is it worth getting for current consoles or should i wait until the next-gen versions release?
As a 360 owner, I agree 100%. MS does come strong with the games at first, but then they focus their attention elsewhere and it's like, why did I buy an Xbox again? Oh yeah games... Ooh look Netfilx!
I am getting the Xbox One though because like I said, MS comes strong with the games, and when they start slacking ill pick up the PS4.
I'm not getting it until the next-gen consoles come out. Why spoil it early with the worst version of the game?
It's funny you a complaining about them using those terms when the game has all of those in it.
I'd rather my fighter fight like one, and not flail around like I'll be doing.
I usually say that after the 3rd patch the game would be golden. Everything before that is just trying to find what things work and don't work.
The multiplayer sucked though. Far Cry 2 was much better.
No, it's still on Recon.
I don't have a problem with killing a dog in a game, but lets be honest. Dogs are just following orders from US HUMANS, so it can be seen as cruelty to animals on the basis that they are even in a war that they have no say in.
"I think as I get older I may stick with franchises like Battlefield"
Same here. I've played every single BF game since I first played the PS2 port on PS2 then bought the PC games and then Bad Company, and BF3-4. And even the Free to Play to the Arcade 1943. I'm a Battlefield fan, and it's the only franchise and developer that I'll continue to support even when my gaming life is up.
Ryses' facial animations look fantastic.
It's different in Halo, you get shields that makes it less likely to die while getting in and out of vehicles. In Battlefield you don't get shields, If you acidently trigger the animation, there's no backing out, so if you get shot, it's because you could'nt move away.
People think they know what the want because it sounds like a cool idea, but it's different in practice.
I don't expect the XB1 and PS4 to be very different from each other this early.
Aliens? I might try it at least.
I'm worried about the reaction from gamers when they find out that the gap won't be as big between cureent gen and next-gen unlike the PS2/Xbox to PS3/XB360.
I've played the Xbox One and although I enjoyed it, there wasn't a "next-gen" moment that grabbed me. It just felt like playing a smoother current-gen game. Also, the lack of good Anti-aliasing was a big dissapointment.
Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for next-gen, ...
I've used the XB1 pad, and I can say that it is much better in ALMOST every way to the XB360 pad. The only gripe I had with it were the LB and RB buttons, they were kind of mushy and not clicky like the 360 pad.
Other than that the XB1 pad is so good. Haven't tried the DS4 yet though.
I have a pet dog and don't like seeing them hurt, but this is a game and DICE is just poking fun at COD just to rile them up and get the fans going. No harm, just competition.
College and work have significantly slowed down my game time and when I start my career I can almost kiss my gaming goodbye. It's fun playing with friends now more than just singleplayer games because I can sit down, play a game or two, then get back to whatever it is I need done atm.
Look at what happened to Assassins Creed though.
