I could care less about the company EA. If it does happen, it's not DICE's fault. Also, no matter now much they mess up before launch, BF3 will still be better.
Buy the game, plain and simple, If I was the head of a business, I would want people to pay for what I make, not lose money over hard work. If online passes are a way that EA DICE makes money 10 a used game, then so be it. It's not like anyone's paying anymore than a new game. If the game is used for $40 dollars, then adding 10 is still cheaper than buying the game new.
What don't you understand!? Think of this from another point of view, if you worked on a game for 3+ years, would you want someone to just be able to play it for free when you initially charged money for it? Also this prevents mass pirating so people who REALLY got the game for free won't be able to play online and potentially hack or mod the game. I DONT GET PEOPLE SOMETIMES THINKING EVERYTHING SHOULD BE HANDFED TO THEM, THE GAMER COMMUNITY SOMETIMES WHINES TOO MUCH OVER LITTLE THING...
Did u guys not hear. Buying used makes the dev no money, therefore they have to pay the servers to let the new players play. They lose money and it's almost like someone is getting the game for free and the devs have to pay for it. If I was a business I would not spend money for something I made and sold to customers.
Notice that the "little brother" will buy MW3.
He seems like a promising addition so far, I hope he can pull the modern military shooter from cliche and generic story lines and dialog.
I agree, if I played a COD game, I would know where and what was going on. That doesn't mean the sound quality is better than BF though.
There's no point comparing ARMA 3 with BF3 they both are played by the same fan base anyway. I'm pretty sure a lot of BF2 players still play ARMA, but IDK about COD players because they just want instant gratification.
Um, you can also fly jets in bf3
I play on 360 and I have to say that PC is the next true step in gaming. It might have faded away in recent years with consoles taking center stage, but I feel that PC will reclaim it's place as the industry leader just as when Half-Life and counter strike were popular back then.
You really don't have to sit at a PC, there are ways to hook up your desktop to a tv screen.
I'm not paying for a 3D TV where I can only watch a handful of 3D shows and a bunch of crappy 3D movies.
Transformers 3 was really amazing in IMAX 3D. We need more movies that use 3D like that.
Enough with Dirt, make another GRID game.
seriously, no offense but it must be hell to live in China right now. no booth babes!? WTH?
I'm loving Infinity blade, but I think they should have included Battleheart also.
publishers will do anything to mislead the press. These 2 games are still at it and I think EA is taking it seriously.
The art style was amazing, I'm hoping that the sequel will be just as original.
I'm not a COD fan, but if MW3 can be as close as MW1 as possible, it will turn out to be a great game.
If used games consumers think buying bf3 online pass is risky, they have the single player portion of the game to sway their opinions on whether or not to pay for the online pass. If I played shadow of the colossus and found out that it had online for an extra 10 dollars, I'd Gladly pay for it.
