I really like what I saw in the Alpha, the graphics weren't maxed so im pretty sure all the graphic work is done. All they have to do is work out the bugs and glitches and i'll be happy with the final product.
no need to port to console, it wouldn't work or appeal as well as it has on PC. CSS doesn't take a super computer to run anyway so it's fine on PC.

If anything, ARMA and operation flashpoint are way more realistic than BF.
I don't see how veterans can say that unless they haven't played those games.
It didn't get as much praise as fans of bf2. Since it came out so soon after bf2 it split the community, but eventually the fans went back to bf2 so now 2142 has arguably died compared to bf2 which at least 1000 players play daily.
I have Outland and it's pretty good. If you like 2d platformers of any kind it's definitely worth a try.
I think bf2142 should get a remake after bf3 and Mirror's edge. It's the next logical step without milking or over saturating modern shooters, and it should give 343 Studios a run for it's money.

I agree with half-life, i couldn't get into it, and when i finally sat down to play it, an invisible wall blocked me from progressing further. I'm not saying HL is a bad game, it's rather good in fact; but for me the game was generic kill bad guys flip levers and drive around for a long time. SORRY IF I HAVE OFFENDED ANYONE.
That's why COD was good, because it gave new experiences to the player. But ask some COD players online, if they've ever played COD1, most likely not, so they 1. don't know the history. pr 2. they don't care and are playing it because their friends are. sometimes I think COD players don't have eyes. You can literally see how good BF3 is compared to MW3, if not then they must have failed their eye exams.

This game mode looks fun, but the game overall looks half-assed.
They show on console because it looks the same on all platforms. At least BF3 looks amazing on all three. And don't say we haven't seen it on 360 because judging from BFBC2 I'm sure it will be amazing.
The more like MW1 MW3 is, the better the game will be, but until they balance out the game, I'm not buying.
