It's a big maybe. I don't see another battlefield game coming out too soon after BF3 launches. The time and money they put into it, I doubt they will focus on much else. They may even have a small team working on mirror's edge 2 right mow.

The U shaped map is called Wake Island. It's a classic BF map that has been in every one of the main BF games. Strike at Karkand is just as popular, but it didn't get a remake until now.

PS4 isn't likely to come out in the next 2 years. get a PC or play it on console.

EA knows they have a hit on their hands, but let the game do the talking. EA is like the big brother in this situation, they can't do the fighting themselves, so they have to get someone to do it for them. DICE can handle Battlefield, they've been doing it for years. I'm pretty sure the war of words isn't necessary.
I'll play Caspian when It's final version. No point in playing on the old beta build.
you must not know the word "beta". 1.5 gigs of data will not contain an HD capable game. The beta is old. And plus, the 360 version will have an option to install HD textures onto the 360 from the second disc.
The NEAR FINAL build (not beta) has none of the beta glitches and the textures across all platforms have improved a LOT.
Dice had a viewing of the NEAR final (not beta) version of the game. Single player so far is good, but very linear. The multiplayer shaped up considerably since the 1 month and a half beta build. I feel sorry for those that canceled their pre orders. This is one hell of a game.
What they need to do is make a horror game. but not with endless creatures; a serial killer or psychopath tries to kill you throughout the whole game and you have to survive. Sorta like a horror movie/game.

there's always syndicate, halo, rage, borderlands, portal, f.e.a.r, brink, duke nukem, bulletstorm, killzone, resistance 3, crysis... How many Modern military FPSs? Battlefield 3, Modern warfare 3, Ghost recon (Which is in the future technically). I can only name 3 in 2011.
hopefully they test the Back to Kakand maps extensively.
Zombie games are way too popular in video game culture to just kill off. Without zombies, games might try to make vampire games, and trust me: no one wants vampire games.
The controls on PS3 and 360 are identical really.
