Onlive is the future. No need to buy parts, or maintain discs. Prices are reasonable and all the games are in one place. It seems like a dream come true to me. I just really hope it succeeds here in America.
But syndicate came out way before them, so technically, they have a lot of leiweigh to make this game.
I'm getting the tee and the assault class.
Tehran highway and Damavand peak look AMAZING!
Yeah, somehow I always thought boats were the ones bombing us from the sky.
"killzone 2 looks better than BF3"
No it doesn't, and bf3 has huge open maps with vehicles andante air combat with 24 players. Looks really don't mean anything at this point.
No, it's era specific. Bfbc2 vietnam took place in the 60s so bringing new and old guns cross expansion would be completely redundant. Also, with the back to karkand expansion, the bf2 era was a couple of years before bf3. And yes bf3 DLC will cost $10-$15 but they won't cosist of just 4 maps. They usually have new vehicles, character models, guns, and maps. Also an expansion for BF2 let you become spec ops operatives with zip lines and crossbows.

LOL, right here:

@panda
but their estimates can't be too far off i guess. And with so many people canceling their pre orders after the beta, it might be a little more accurate (maybe).
Its sad really. The pre-order charts state that Xbox 360 has the leading number of pre-orders at 900,000+. While PC has just over 124,000+. I guess people don't need to play it on PC to have a great experience. I doubt all 124,000+ PC players can max out the game anyway.
They both have way different strategies.
COD: Map Packs
BF: Expansions (Even all of the DLC maps were free)
It'd be distracting on console anyway.
Guns on guns on guns... I have a gun made out of guns.
hm, UC series is a glorified singleplayer game with deathmach modes tacked on. don't get jumpy.
if it comes out next year, im not buying. a new $400 console with only updated graphics won't cut it anymore.
Loopzooking. A battlefield staple.
manuals were a good piece of what made the game. An awesome game with a sweet guide to go with it is what's lacking in today's games.
little meaning? Even previews of a game tend to sway the consumer to either purchase or avoid. The validity of the review doesn't matter anymore.
Well, judging by the demo trailer, it looks like they took away the one element that should stay with the game. the sandbox element.
Tower defense? The most over saturated of flash-based games.
I get what your saying, but nobody creates the future in one try. Onlive has some serious potential but u fortunately the tech they are working with isnt up to par just yet. When it's released in the states I won't pick it up, I'll be still using my console. But I give it the be edit of the doubt that when consoles or the price to game go too far up, Onlive will have the head start on giving us gaming experiences through cloud gaming.
