I like the CryEngine, but I don't like the whole "I'm so slick and clean, I have to try to look dirty." At least it's not like the Unreal Engine where %90 of the games made from it look like mud. Except for Mirror's Edge, my vote for art style of the decade.
Change a couple of colors and call it "best looking game" uh, no.
I don't think, or just haven't heard, enough from women to justify any change in the game industry's direction. From an observer standpoint, if more women are joining, they must like the way the industry is handling itself now, so why change if the demographic of women gamers are increasing without much work from the industry or devs?
And besides, I haven't heard much from the women in the industry other than they like games with handsome protagonists like As...
As a guy I'll give you some advise. Playing video games is a hands on activity. We don't like being pulled away from a hands on activity, so it's always best for you to ask us questions about the game being played at that moment. Especially if want to know why what we're doing is so interesting to us.
More specifically, say what you like about game by what you see. Complement our in game characters or applaud us for beating a level for a boss. Try not to act ...

It's good to see people are still having fun with it, but I don't know how long free roam will last. At least they have the gambling though, that's always fun.

who still plays rdr? it was amazing when it came out but it wasnt known for its replayability.
Can't wait to see what it is and I hope it takes full advantage of the Unreal 3 Engine. I know there are going to be disagrees for anything Cliffy or Epic or xbox in general, but count me excited.
Hide the women and children
I agree, I hate how the shadows look on Caspian and outside of the subway park area on Metro. The Shadows are WAY too dark and make the levels look ugly. On top of that due to Caspian's huge size, the level can look unfinished or unpolished at times. Playing this game on console makes want to get a PC at times but the smaller maps look and play great, like Siene Crossing and Bazaar.

only thing i noticed though was that in the review, the voice acting was superb. But in the score: "Music is stunning, voice acting isn't." I need a little clarity here.

I like your points but the only thing I disagree with is the split-screen. BF has NEVER had a splitscreen so it'd be pointless to push that feature.
