Sounds like a higher number than that. I have that issue and by the time I went online to check if there was anything about it there were already articles on the issue. I'm curious how many PSVR units will have sold this weekend.
PSVR is to Sony what the Super Nintendo was to Nintendo when that released. If it's sales are good, and it gets properly supported then this tech in 20 years, even 10 years, will be amazing.
This, along with oculus and vive are consumer VR version 1.0. All it takes to be successful is a little, push.

I've been really having fun with mine all day. A bunch of friends were just over for the last few hrs playing with it. Everyone really enjoyed it. My buddy's gf got a little queasy once. But the rest of us didn't have a problem.
So much potential for the future. As per games, surprisingly job simulator is crazy immersive. Batman vr is a cool experience. London heist is a blast. Still so many games to try out.
The only thing I think that REALLY needs to be adopted by other similar open world games is that speedometer on the bottom of the screen. Me and my buddy's have been asking for that in gta since San Andreas
YES!! Pretty excited to get mine tomorrow morning. Already downloaded the couple free vr things from psn so when my games from disc are installing I have stuff to fool around with. Got my bundle with the move controllers then also 5 games paid off last month. Just finished paying off my PS4 Pro for next month. I'm super curious if there will be a noticeable jump in quality when I hook up the PSVR to the Pro after using it on my OG PS4.

On the North American PS store right now you can download The Playroom VR, and PlayStation VR demo disc. That one is 30 something gigs and comes with a crap ton of demos to try. I believe the PSVR comes with that disc to. I just figured why not download it now n get it out of the way
I downloaded this and another VR demo pack last night. So now while my actual games are installing on my PS4 from the discs I have some stuff to play around with.

I'm in Canada but 9 times out of 10 we get the same schedule as the states because we're so close. The EB's(GameStop) in my town aren't doing a midnight release. When I asked he said there wasn't enough pre orders. So maybe it all just depends how many they get.
Meh. I LOVED Forza Horizon 2. The forza series is by far the best racing series and Horizon pushes that even farther. BUT, I really didn't enjoy Horizon 3. Couple hrs in, put it down and moved on. Not sure why. I played Horizon 2 like a madman. But besides the graphics, I thought Horizon 3 was really bad. Like I said not sure why, just didn't like the way the game was presented. I'm most likely in the minority though.
You are correct. People need to get ANY of the big 3 VR set ups to support the VR movement. As long as VR is being supported on any platform(oculus, vive, psvr) developers will push for more innovation. Gen 2 vr going wireless will help tremendously though in the future

Having said that this game should have been $20, maybe $30 at launch. It was def overpriced.
Native 4K! That's awesome! I was already gonna pick this up but now I'm double sold. But shit, skyrim remastered. Ones out at the end of the month and a few weeks later the PS4 pro. Do I wait to play it on the pro or just jump into it?

Yeah I'm in the same camp. Didn't even know they were based on books until the third game came out and was a hit. Picked up two books after that. I can see why they are so highly regarded. They are phenomenal books.
I think he could be wrong about the games negatively impacting his book sales. But I don't see sales numbers so who knows.

I stopped 3 COD's ago. Not bad games by any means. Just exactly the same each time with a new coat of paint.
Just paid off my pre order 2 days after I ordered my PS4P lol and I paid off my PSVR. 2 months to stack cash for a new 60" 4K HDR TV and I'll be set. So stoked for the next few months of gaming!
And yeah the back USB port is nice to see make a return. Since everyone is mentioning it lol
