Ummm, 4k tv's are quickly becoming the norm. Most tv's on the market right now can do 4k. Anybody upgrading in the last year or the next year prob do or will have one. You can get a good sized 4k tv for under $1000 now. Granted they aren't wide spread yet. But by 2018 I would bet they are common enough. I got one last November to go with my ps4pro. I went higher quality with mine but I could have gotten a half decent one for 1/4 of what I spent. So I don't know what this guys ...
I very much enjoy this game. I haven't enjoyed a resident evil game this much since 4. A true return to form for the series finally. I'm about 3/4 of the way done the game and started a new file playing in VR. Wow. I was skeptical as I find the best psvr games use the move controllers, but this game is incredible in vr. Doesn't lose a thing using it. Looking forward to multiple playthroughs to see the different endings.
There are a bunch of options for PSVR settings. Try turning off head wobble while moving. I luckily haven't had to mess with the settings. No sickness for me.
I'm fucking loving this game. After really not liking RE 5 and 6 it's good to enjoy playing this. Massive RE fan since the first one. I had been saying resident evil needed a reboot since 5 released. This soft reboot works pretty well. Nothing detracting so far but I haven't completed the game yet. Started a second profile playing in VR. I gotta say I'm impressed.
All around great game
Very much agree. For once I'm actually looking forward to the next release in the series. New setting with harder puzzles instead of just "find the missing piece" would make me incredibly happy.
That's your opinion and your entitled to it. But I'm playing it. And from MOST of the reviews I've read and talked about it with buddies, this def feels like an old school resident evil game. Yes there are some major changes, but the atmosphere, setting, management system, all make it feel like a resident evil game. Way more so than 5 and 6 which just felt like rip offs of the shit movies. Even little things like the quick turn function, and the way doors pop open then slowly open...
That's not terribly short. Plus I have PSVR. A 10 hour campaign in vr will prob be stretched out by at least a few hrs lol
Yeah your right. I've been to a good number of midnight releases. The ones by my place are super strict about release dates. But where he lives the time zone might be different than the registered release time. I frequently get game and tv releases at 10pm on PSN because they usually release in eastern standard time.
Everyone's complaining haha it's going to be $349 in Canada. Like they won't buy this. It's Nintendo. It will sell. I was just at EB and they said all they have been doing is trade ins and pre orders for the Switch.
My top 3 picks
Blood Omen
Legend of the dragoon
Onimusha
Great line up. But goes to show how much I just prefer multiplats
This one is by far the best I've seen so far

It's the one I got. Works great
No it's not the one nitrowolf2 posted. I got this one. It charges 4 controllers simultaneously. http://m.bestbuy.ca/default...
Not only is that ugly but it's not even practical. My stand hold my headset and charges 2 controllers and 2 move controllers at the same time.
Who wants a head shaped thing standing by your tv?
Very hard. So many powers to put in the game and how do you make it challenging without handicapping Superman? You want to be able to use ALL his powers and not just the ones that work in the narrative. Unless it's an origin story or perhaps one of the many clone stories I don't know how you do it.
But people will say it can't be done properly until it is. Same thing happened with Batman. Until rocksteady showed how it was done properly people didn't expect a good Ba...
I might have to redownload this and give it a shot with the PSVR. Could be fun for a bit.
I wonder how many of those actually purchased the full game though. I mean I would count as a download but I deleted it 10 minutes later after completing the free levels. No way I'm paying $13.99(Canada) for that game. $5 maybe. But even then I'd have to think about it.
I actually just finished the series today. Blasted through episodes 3, 4, and 5. It crashed once for me in episode 5. And during close to the end scene I had some assassins creed style jaw and eye floaters for a couple characters. Other than that episode 2 crashed 3 times on me.
Good series overal. Little buggier than I would have liked but it was fine most of the way through.
No way. Even if they go the Bethesda route and announce relatively close to the release date that's too soon. Not a single announcement yet? I would GUESS 2018 at the earliest
Exactly right
