Hahaha yup
FINALLY!!!! And it looks appropriately epic!! Can't wait
I owned the game. Day 1. Was pretty stoked. Massive let down. Many features they said would be in it were not. There's an actual list. Is it the worst game? No. but it's pretty monotonous after a couple hrs. This update seems to help. But I'm not jumping back in. And the mass audience they had probably won't either. They let down the public. They will return in kind as they should.
Consoles in general prob sold well over the last week. I went to Best Buy to snag some cheap blurays and 4K movies and I witnessed many consoles being bought just in my 20 min in line. Noticeably more PS4's but still more than a few X1's. And the odd Wii U actually lol
My thoughts exactly
Go with the KS8000 or higher. Anything less and the HDR isn't quite up to snuff. I recently picked up a 65" KS8500. Def worth the extra cash. Make sure it's a KS series and not a KU.
I would even go down in size if price is an issue to stick with the KS line.
There are A LOT of really good deals right now on PSN. Just picked up the Hitman first season for $35(Canadian). Wicked deal.
If it has legend of the dragoon I'd pick that up. That would just be the cherry on the cake
You know that how? Both demos were pretty good and restored my hope for a good RE game again. The series has been shit for YEARS. Even if this does turn out to be another dud at least they tried something different than the micheal bay style things they have been making.
Everyone here knows it. Content. I've run through all my games multiple times. I have almost every major PSVR game and a lot of the indie ones. The only ones I go back to are Rush of Blood and Eve. Not much replay value to me personally in the other ones.
There hasn't been much announced past resident evil 7. After that what else is coming?
It's okay to like one console over another. Don't need to down talk one system. I have a Pro and an X1S and they both handle their games great.
As for not seeing an improvement on the Pro for standard games, they already said regular games run exactly the same on a pro. Only pro enhanced games run or look different. And if your talking Pro enhanced games than your either making that up or not using a proper 4K HDR tv. Because there is a very clear difference.
I picked up a 65" KS8500. Worth every penny.
I know the curve does nothing but I paid almost 2 grand under sticker price so figured why not for the cool factor.
Yeah they didn't advertise the transfer system well. They make it sound like a simple Ethernet connection between the two consoles will work. I was able to keep my game saves with the cloud option but had to redownload 300+ gigs of games and updates after that one by one. Took me a couple days. Major pain in the ass.
On Topic: I'm a PS4 Pro day one buyer and in Canada. I received my $15 credit a couple days ago.
Fair enough. 30% is still a decent number. But as far as I know None of the North American sales stats have been released yet. I'm curious if they have similar numbers or there is a big difference for or against.
I upgraded my TV to a 65" Samsung KS8500 4K HDR a couple days before I picked up my PS4 Pro. Very much enjoying my new set up. Went and got a good soundbar to. Really did a big entertainment upgrade. Couldn't be happier. The Pro supported games all look and play great. Had a few hiccups with a couple at first but a couple patches later and they all run buttery smooth.
I kind of agree with @mikeslemonade. I don't think it would be alienating to current PS4 owne...
I did the same. I wouldn't say it goes that far but it's a very noticeable jump forward on games that use the higher definition and HDR well. The crispness of games. Damn. So good
I would go with the Samsung KS8000 series. That's a a decent tv but the KS line is so nice. Low lag input, really bright. Really solid tv if your willing to put in a few extra bucks.
That's what I was thinking. I just picked up my new tv a week ago roughly. Glad I put a little more down than I planned for mine. Good investment in the end anyway. As long as 8K tv's don't become the norm anytime soon
Salty much
I was disappointed that nothing was shown of Days Gone. Really looking forward to that game. And God Of War.
