This game just keeps getting weirder. I love it.

EA's worst move was Dungeon Keeper Mobile. Take a beloved franchise, and add the worst version of Farmville mechanics and In-App-Purchases. Right in the childhood.

Very well put. While I am as guilty as others for looking at spoilers, in a game all about fresh experiences, why would you ruin that? And if it's small details, why bother spoiling it? So a menu screen leaked, what difference does that make?

If there isn't at least a new trailer, I'll be really disappointed.

Wonder if this'll bring people back into Elder Scrolls Online, it was huge when it first released, but it seemed to die down quite fast.

Are they the same great philosophers that once said "Spice up your life"?
Nevertheless, it's good to see Toadette getting another time to shine. She and Waluigi are always the go-to characters for the spinoff games.

Seems incredibly different from the earlier Clock Tower games, though that may be for the best. Despite that, they should leave the light arrows to Princess Zelda methinks.

While I struggled to identify with the game myself, the atmosphere was fantastic in this game.

Shovel Knight, Broken Age, and War for the Overworld are my favourites. It's a shame so many games are left unfinished, leaving some Kickstarters ending up with broken promises, and zero refunds.

Great review. Art style looks wonderful, and it's nice to have a ghost story that isn't strictly horror, but still not exactly for the kids.
That said, it's sad to see that they didn't do as much as they could have with the game.

I'd love a Battle Royal action FPS, with randomly designated weapons, complete with death zones. Imagine the action and horror of Battle Royale, but with the high speed of Call of Duty? Rewarding players with better weapons upon kills, and no respawns in a match. Would certainly be interesting.
Also, is it bad that any time I hear "Heart of Darkness", I think of the PSX platformer, and not the book?

Rebirth is essentially a big remake of the original, with far more content. Afterbirth is further content in a DLC.
A lot of the Christian imagery actually stems from McMillen's childhood, as he was brought up in a very Christian household.

I love bad fanfiction so much (My Immortal is still a good read). Fantastic article. I'm not 100%, but I might have read that Zelda one...although, Link is "...big" in most fanfic.
Not that I'd know. I mean...what's fanfiction, amirite?

Hope it's at least as good as the original

With Kickstarter being full of false promises, I'm happy to say that I have no regrets backing this one.

I loved Cthulhu Saves the World, a great cast of characters, and a storyline that wasn't too serious.

Zeboyd Games do a great job with retaining the classic JRPG feel

Ah, someone else who loves Theme Park (and Hospital). I completely skipped the Tycoon games, but Bullfrog's games (Theme Park, Theme Hospital, Dungeon Keeper) are some of my favourite classic games.

While by no means the "best" horror grunts, I love the Zombies in Left 4 Dead (1 and 2), watching them from afar, or even on the title screen, seeing them shamble about hilariously, great fun. When the AI director decides they should all horde around you? Pretty scary at times.

It's great seeing inspirational folks like Psycho Robot Studios, wish I could work as diligently as they do on my own games projects :P
