Not gonna lie, I'd be happy if they threw Link into Soul Caliber again, just for kicks
Certainly doesn't sound like Kingdom Hearts anyway
He's electric rather than ice, but maybe Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase?
MGS will never be the same. Frankly, the best thing Konami could do is make a few remasters, ports, and then BIG reboots to their top series, Metal Gear, Suikoden, and Castlevania.
Steam seems to be getting a lot of tabletop card games lately, but one that links intrinsically with Steam is a fantastic idea
I feel like saying the concept of Nintendo using their mascot characters too much is ignorant, with how Sony proudly push Naughty Dog to the forefront, and Microsoft with Epic Games and 343.
The NX is appealing to casuals by making strides to be cheaper? Because hardcore gamers would rather throw money at expensive machines than get a good deal? Show me a game as visually stunning as Breath of the Wild or Xenoblade X on other platforms and then maybe I'll give a damn about graphi...
3 near misses by a car, countless potholes, and walking past my busstop. But I've walked more than I have in months!
Zelda:BOTW (and as an aside, FinalFantasyXV) are the closest I'll go to playing Skyrim. They have 2 things that appeal to me more than Skyrim; Japanese aesthetic, and COLOUR. As impressive as the mountain ranges of Skyrim were, Zelda trumps them with artistic style. Gameplay on BOTW has blown me away with its graphics, while Skyrim leaves me bored with its more realistic graphics.
While I agree with a fair share of the points made, I feel like Final Fantasy VI had far better female characters in Terra and Celes. In fact, many of their character points are reused wholesale in Lightning. Terra took "becoming a monster" in a more interesting direction, and both had the female Soldier vibe, however both had one thing Lightning never managed. Emotion.
Brings back memories of cheating at Goldeneye. One big shame is how unfriendly it is for lets plays. I've tried watching some, but it's nearly impossible to keep track. Still, the game looks pretty good.
Seeing more of the gameplay, I wish they had marketed this in a better way, like Final Fantasy Explorers did. Ultimately, it's Monster Hunter-ish gameplay with a scifi Metroid style, like FFEX was Monster Hunter with a FF skin. Chuck in more Metroid fanservice, and people would buy it. But from the off, they took it away from the source, while they kept the Metroid name. So strange.
I love a good dating sim, otome or otherwise, with Amnesia and Sweet Fuse being some great ones.
There's a special part in my heart for Hatoful Boyfriend however.
EoE looks like the next great indie RPG, and if done well enough, might make Square Enix step up their game.
So many JRPGs, and more reasons for me to pick up a PS4. Need to start saving those pennies!
Looks like a very interesting visual novel.
That's not to say that dating sims are all bad, it's just nice to see a more serious, deeper visual novel.
I swear they're just dangling him in front of us like a orange furry carrot. Utter trolls.
Cracking game this one. Great to take a breather into a simple platformer, and the added depth keeps you playing. Love it
This is absolute art. So beautiful.
I wish there was more variety in what FromSoftware made. I miss games like Lost Kingdoms, which was so unique, rather than Souls/Blood games that feel the same.
I'll toss my hat in the ring and say that we deserve an XMen game that is framed like the early Harry Potter PS1/PS2 games, Bully, or Persona 3-5 (balance school life in some way with combat and an openish world)
