Even though the ending was bad it's sad to see that its overshadowed what was an amazing game.
Screw the haters I'm not going to let 5-10mins spoil around 100hours+ that I've put into this franchise, crappy ending or not.
On topic, the ending can be interpreted in many ways so just because you were disappointed in it doesn't mean that it's 'wrong'.
How's about they give Bioware a chance to fix it. They know it...
I played 2 after playing through 3 about a million times.
I dunno but I felt that the game just wasn't as good.
It was a long time ago so I'm totally up for giving the game another go.
As much as I love the Future Trilogy on PS3 they can never beat the first time I played Ratchet and Clank 3 on my PS2 slim (I was late to the party).
If this is good I'll have to check it and the Jak collections out.
In Bioware I trust.
They created an incredible trilogy which I loved and messed up on about the last 5 minutes.
*Spoilers*
If the endings were indoctrinated hallucinations and Bioware release the proper ending as DLC then fine I'm sure that they will do right.
If not then nothing happens but I hope they pull through.
This is getting ridiculous.
The most ridiculous part is that with this film grain and no doubt any altered endings the fans will expect it for free.
I'm cool with that.
So long as each of the games flows nicely into each other and actually advances the plot then planning the games ahead is fine.
Looks legit.
Looks like a Geth engineer and Infiltrator.
A Batarian soldier and sentinal.
What looks like a Krogan 'Battlemaster'?
And an Asari 'Justicar'?
Doesn't look like Vanguard or adept made it? I got good eyesite so maybe someone else could correct me.
But it would also explain the reason why there seems to be a gap after the fourth character select and that's because there is space for ...
If the Transformers are based on their TV counterparts then fair enough. That is obviously in the game to appease the long time fans. As someone who enjoys the series but not that much I wouldn't know that, so yeah that could change things I guess...
Also I mentioned my opinion on the multiplayer above your comment if you'd want to read that. Regarding the score a 5/10 personally means an average game. Both equally good and bad. A 7 or 8/10 for me would be GOTY nomine...
In regards to multiplayer the reason that I never mentioned it was that I never played it.
The reason being because I brought it so long after launch I assumed that the online was dead (I admit that I never checked).
Also the idea of the review was to inform people if the game was still worth money nowadays, not at the time of release. Therefore a games multiplayer mode released about 2 years ago wouldn't necessarily have survived that long.
I can't edit my original comment now but I admit that it comes across as very negative.
As I mentioned in my reply to FantasyStar what I meant was for all the hate aimed at 'From Ashes' the content of the DLC was minor. From all the hate you would expect hours of content along with free candy etc but it's just one guy and some really good backstory (and his weird black plague like power).
Javik is great but he doesn't do much so if someone...
^ Also how did your squad members get on the ship.
The Normandy left at the beginning of the London mission.
Then they're fighting with you in the trenches.
Then you're charging towards the big laser to go to the citadel. But your squad is still with you at that point but then you get shot by Harbinger.
So how is it that after begin shot by a Reaper they leave my body behind, escape to the ship and somehow it's al...
The thing about 'Hardcore' fans is that you will never ever please them. No matter what you do, gameplay/story wise it will always fall short of their expectations.
All developers can do is try to find a nice middle ground where there is enough to satisfy the 'Hardcore' but can also allow others to jump in on the experience.
At the end of the day as 'Ginsuniva' says (his comment is also epic), 'Hardcore' fans are not somehow m...
*SPOILERS* Sorry if I ruined anything for anyone but you have been warned!
I'm gonna assume you're talking about Joker escaping the huge explosion thingy and crash landing on the tropical planet with 2 other members of your team, not all 2!?!?!?!?!?
Where the hell is everyone else?
Why is this significant?
Why didn't they just stay behind on Earth?
The endings overall are bad but mostly because th...
The Thessia mission was one of the examples I had in my head when I thought of his importance.
What I meant by my comment is that everyone was getting so upset because he wasn't in the game. But his actual influence on the overall game is minimal. Like you said all he really does is offer a much different insight into the world.
Personally I loved taking him on missions just to see what he had to say on the current world. I've already finished one pla...
As someone who had the collectors editon and played the whole of from ashes I can say hand on heart the Prothean brings nothing to the game.
I am not defending Bioware or EA (it becomes apparent that the guy was pulled for whatever reason as he has dialouge for every bit of the game).
My point is that while he is a very important piece of ME lore he just doesn't do anything. Only on about 2 occassions was it interesting to have the guy as part of my ento...
You know what I just figured that out yesterday with my ME3 collectors.
I accidently canceled the download of the extra stuff and went into a panic.
The followed on screen instructions and etc and got it back up and running.
I was so scared. But yeah I might do that.
But he doesn't do anything.
The characters that surround him are great and all but Freeman is a silent protagonist that just goes along with everything.
The only reason we know what he even looks like is because of the box art. Otherwise we would only know what his hands look like because sometimes they appear depending on the weapon he's choosing. He also never speaks, displays emotion or anything
I'm not hating but I've just...
I disagree because at the end of the day characters like Shepard aren't characters at all....more like empty husks for the player to control like a puppeteer.
Shepard doesn't have a personality, a character or emotions. Just a pick and choose dialogue system.
Someone like Kratos, Master Chief, Drake are characters because they are who they are without the input of the player.
As soon as the player is included in the development of th...
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooo split screennnnnnnnnn!!
Seriously though. Killing your friend who had come round to your house with split screen just cannot be re-created by online play.
I'm not trashing online but hey guys my internet is down wanna play some online? Oh wait no I can't cos you known the whole online thing rest on the basis that I need internet.
It's the same reason why you should make your single player camp...
@jony_dols
Thanks for the clarification.
Although I don't necessarily care if the guy sues/complains against Bioware I would just prefer it if the fans gave Bioware some time to fix the problem.
They've been saying on FB and Twitter that they're open to suggestions regarding the ending and what people want to see.
What does that tell you? It tells you that Bioware are aware of the problem and are trying to fix it.
