It's exciting but yeah E3 as a whole (mostly the conferences) are pretty disappointing. Mainly because they like to focus on things that the internet community (the only ones watching) care about.
Anyway I also don't really care who wins because I have all the consoles (except Vita) so whoever wins, I win.
I think it's simply because the games look 'too' good.
The jump from even the last Uncharted game to this looks a lot and people where hating on that when it was first shown. No wonder people are hating on the Last of Us.
Personally I think bits of it are scripted (in the sense that the camera changes into the optical position and such) but all those sections are interactive via the controller.
Doesn't matter really because N...
They had bad bits, they had good bits, just like everyone else at E3.
Overall yeah, maybe out of the big 3 they won but not by much.
1313 and watchdogs
As good as the other stuff shown was they had all been previously announced and so it wasn't as exciting as seeing the 2 mentioned above.
Just saying
Q1 next year is going to rape my wallet hard.
Off the top of my head:
Bioshock
Beyond
Last of Us
South Park
Judgment
R.I.P wallet
The game isn't really 'new' anymore is it?
I admit, 'Old Super Mario Bros U' isn't as catchy.
Well, it is a beast of a controller so it's not really surprising.
This is what I don't understand about the press conferences.
It's clearly a gaming convention so show games, or stuff related to them.
If you wanna show of tech or entertainment then do it somewhere else because nobody is wants to see it....at this time.
Where is the Darksiders one?
As far as I remember, it was like 1 hour long and a huge chunk of the game.
Other than that good list :)
If it is then that'll be a first for this generation.
A series that isn't a trilogy, what lies?!
Tis an interesting question.
The problem is that with the internet and such revealing a game can be incredibly easy and well...cheap.
I think E3 is mostly for spectacle now (as with most of these things). Give a big showy display and flash a nice trailer and let the loving commence.
I like it that way :)
Never played the Kingdom Hearts games (waiting for a HD collection).
Good list, I like the idea for the Kevin Butler character.
Also the star wars stuff is a def
And therein lies the problem.
There are 2 types of people: those that like COD and those that don't.
No matter what you do in any form of entertainment you have to make your accessible to people (even the smallest amount) because that's how you enlarge your fanbase, so to speak.
With COD you know have the situation where its becoming increasingly hard for the developers to tempt people into playing the game because its 'stale'...
The problem with saying stuff like that is that it's all good and well but we all know that the core gameplay - 2 guns, knife slash, grenades, throw grenades back etc etc will remain unchanged.
I remember seeing the MW3 reveal trailer and it looked really interesting and diverse but you would always just end up with gun in hand mowing down loads of enemies because you hadn't crossed the invisible line.
Change the core gameplay or at least develop it a...
It adds sweet new content...for free
3.5 million in sales
14k angry fans on the Bioware forums.
I'd say that on the internet that was a vocal MAJORITY.
I'd also say that those people was a vocal MINORITY OVERALL.
:)
Eh?
The ending of Mass Effect 2 was good. Had a good last level and cutscene.
Maybe I missed something. If I did could someone enlighten me?
p.s or are you talking about the idea that ME2 and it's overall plot did very little to advance the plot of the Reaper threat. Because if that's what you mean then yeah I understand.
@da_2pacalypse -
'You think it's acceptable to completely forgive Bioware for the huge mistakes they have made for this game and let them fix it' - Er yeah. Like I said I am going to give Bioware a chance to fix it. If they fix it then fine, if not then we have seen their final hand and whatever action needs to be taken can be.
See this is the difference between me and you. I am open to the idea that Bioware messed up intentionally, unintentionally or may...
Aww snap beaten to it :(
Was gonna say 'I only need one....it is the sequel to Darksiders' :)
I'm pretty sure it won't.
What about Halo 5 and 6? (you know what I mean)
