FTC responds with “lol TLDR”. You know you are slipping when you make Kotick sound reasonable.
This looks fun. Too bad it’s PC only.
@crimson
No you look at the press making a story about them losing 4 times like it’s a big deal. It is a big deal, it doesn’t happen often. It just shows you how sloppy and inefficient they are these days.
I didn’t say they don’t lose, I said they dont make a habit of it. Losing 4 times is even more reason to grease the next poor sap in line and they will. Their very generous salary and immunity is on the line.
You shouldn’t ignore them losing ...
The FTC and the government in general doesn’t make a habit of losing in court.
They actually blocked it 😂 Wow… I didn’t see that coming. I wonder what BS was used to pull that off.
The good news is that Microsoft has 40 billion to spend on studios that are actually good and people actually care about. Not the strange “sue because my cod” kind of care but emotionally invested nonetheless. Like capcom and sega etc. They are much better investments anyway. They could probably buy every other available studio for 40 billion. It’s going to get nas...
Capcom is doing things to rebuild their image because it was self-corrected. In that case, the customers pushed the needle. That’s why I don’t believe in the slippery slope fallacy, the entire universe is built on self-correction. There is always something to stop the bottom falling out.
It’s possible. I don’t deal in absolutes so I’m not saying “no way this happens” but I see it as highly unlikely.
I’m always mindful lol.
This is actually good news if you think about it. That means they are gearing up for an announcement. The rumor I hear is MK12 in 2023. I believe this move is trying to hype people not discuss the practice of ingame advertising lol. It’s the secretive trollish hinting that boon likes to do imo. At this point any kind of life, a pulse is a message.
It’s different with fighting games. It’s seasonal like call of duty. Especially NRS fighting games with the least amount of sup...
I don’t base any of my opinions on the slippery slope fallacy. Just a personal view of mine.
MK11 is dead. If they are using it to promote their new game I don’t see the issue. It makes sense. If they using it to promote Doritos then yes that’s weird. I will not chastise them for promoting Doritos until they do so though.
Ads to promote their own games is fine
AAAA is budget term not a quality term. This is their first game if I’m not mistaken. Saying it’s AAAA just mean they spent a massive amount of cash to get this thing rolling. A new decent sized studio and a new franchise is a big deal. I half suspect that weird universe clash with that pubg game was just trying to pay some of this back.
When you say “AAA indie” you are talking about and indie developer with a normal publishing budget. Like Witcher 3 is “AAA indie” not beca...
Not even a digital copy? It costs them an extra 5 cents to print a digital code lmao.
Oh I didn’t know they were super easy to find. That’s a first, my mistake.
I think it looks great. There are a few themes that will get me to play a stupidly difficult game and folklore type stuff is one of them. It kind of reminded me more of god of war than a souls-like though.
No problem. Same here haha. I figured there was no way I was getting one with the supply issues and I already wrote it off. Suckers indeed. Congrats on your financial freedom.
PSVR2 is available for preorder on PlayStation direct right now if you have 600 dollars to dump. I preordered it but I was like “gd that’s more than the ps5!” Lmao
Indies killed it this year.
I was hyped for Callisto but after playing some I realized I really just want to go back to dead space 1 lol. Easily in my top 5 all time.
Midnight suns is doing a good job getting me hyped for Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine. Especially Wolverine.
I’m down
Inscryption was my breakout. It was my GOTY.
