“Inside” is the opposite of games as a service. I think he wants to be more subtle with environmental storytelling instead of hamfisted with cutscenes.

Good for him. It’s definitely his weakest spot or “crutch” although TLOU2 was much better in that regard.

This reads like something out of the 1990s.
Videos games as a medium are way beyond anything this is trying to push. “Guilty mom doesn’t like video games” is a 30 year old battle and no one cares anymore. Well besides China I guess, they care in an iron fisted communist kind of way.

I’m not sure what makes this a highly anticipated title. The first game was alright, it wasn’t terrible but I don’t see where the hype generation is coming from.

You can’t go wrong either way imo. They are all standalone games that are tied together by nuance. Infinite really takes a couple playthrough to fully appreciate though. Weird paradoxes etc. There is a lot going on.

Infinites story jumps everywhere so taking a year to play it I can see why you felt that way. A fair shake is definitely deserved if you like weird stories and philosophy. 2 does not need to be played to understand infinite but they play nothing alike. I persona...

If I knew they said that my respect level would have grown immensely. But backing out takes them lower than they were before

I agree with bioshock infinite.

That’s awesome people are digging it I’m excited.

I own the original but only a few games really pulled me in. It sat for a long time before I just put it away but those few games were enough for me to preorder psvr2. There are some solid launch titles including a couple of continuations that I really liked the first time around like resident evil and rush of blood.

It’s a game of reach arounds and political favors. The FTC is a joke. Musk had a hell of a time trying to buy Twitter because it’s essentially a CIA psyops tool they didn’t want to let go. Biden was contemplating blocking the deal.

Also, FTC hasn’t officially filed to block it yet. They sued to get a settlement. 98% of the time these big corporations settle just to push the deal through. That’s why they do this. Justifying their paycheck basically. Useless government bloat....

There is nothing new here… basically “I’m prepared to see you in court”. People are really milking this thing for clicks.

Lol I would hope so…

Perfect.

LOL. I wouldn’t give them anything tbh. I would rather waste money on making the FTC look stupid in court than going to settlement. It’s a shame though. Buying activision blizzard is a wasted opportunity. What a terrible company.

I don’t doubt their new motivation. I wouldn’t be surprised if they got back into gaming just to make another MGS without Kojima.

Hahahahaha it really is. Every broken part about it. Slow, empty and cringe. The 80s and 90s kids are alright. The early models. The later model is the saints row reboot lmao.

Lmao exactly. That sums the confusion of this for me. Dissecting a legal response as “Playing dumb” lmao.

“It took me 3 seconds to find this out”
Wow look at the big brain on brad lmao

The disagrees on this is baffling to me. Someone explain.

Are you guys suggesting that if you want to buy activision or any company they should know the release dates of all of their games? That’s highly unreasonable and irrelevant imo lol. “They are a trillion dollar company so they should know.” Why though? What purpose does it serve to know the release dates of all blizzard activision games? It’s a weird argument.

1159d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I don’t blame them for not knowing details like release dates. Especially the original release date. When you are being questioned and put on the spot it’s not unusual to not study every minute detail.

1159d ago 0 agree7 disagreeView comment

No need to be a weird dick. If someone asked you on the spot you don’t say “wait let me google” you say “I don’t know”. It’s not strange.
