On this topic I would love to see the west African god Anansi show up in god of war as a “helper head” ally. That would be as good as mimir. He is easily one of my favorite gods, amazing stories. If you haven’t read anansi boys I would recommend it. The audio book is fantastic too.
That’s the entire point of the new god of war though. Cultural diversity. The Norse gods are not like the Greek gods. I wouldn’t be surprised if she is tied to the Egyptian side of things. And that would be a great use of diversity. Ancient Egyptians and the Nubians had similar gods like Greeks and Romans. It’s not a stretch to see a black character walking around if these cultures mingled because of Tyr.

Thor was seen as heroic. I believe he was worshiped as the god of the common man and he was certainly the champion of Asgard even though he was dimwitted and “robust”. He was more like hulk than marvel Thor haha
