God2 looked great but did not come close to Cronicles of Riddick or HL2 or Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox1. It was not even close. Don't kid yourself. Those games could not have been done the same way on the PS2 as the Xbox1.

Even Uncharted has some ugly textrue and low res textures here and there. Only game i have seen with no low res textures this generation is Crysis Warhead.

Most of the problems caused are not from the OS itself. That includes Vista and XP. It's 3rd party drivers. When a OS has to accommodate THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of drivers from literally hundred different companies, you are bound to have issues. All fanboys are idiots. None of them own the company they kiss a** to.
They are not paid by the company to be their PR person OR pulling a salary to really care.

Actually In Batman there are quite a few effects that stand out using Phsyx.
When you consider that the PC format has literally thousands upon thosands of configurations and 3rd party companies making drivers, it's a good idea.
Ask yourself why Macs do not have to do this?
I will answer it for you:
MACS only have a handful of hardware configurations to deal with.
When the day ever comes that Steve allows consumers to configure MACS the way they can configure PC's you will see then how "stable" MAC OS really is.

I played Batman Arkham on the PC with the Nvidia setup. Very cool but not worth the extra money needed to make this happen.
This game is going to kick ass.
As long as new HD Tv's with 120 refresh rates are needed and higher, this will still be a niche product.
Currently Nvidia is offering 3D gaming. It's neat but definitely not needed...until they can make it price affordable.
