It is too costly when compared to the past PSP models that play UMD.
I agree for some its a rent if you're not use to this type of tacticle shooter. This is no Socom or COD4.

Actually OLED screen is a big one. I have seen them both side by side and its NO contest. The screen display quality for media is miles ahead the touch. Its like Sony's X series player. That OLED screen is also frekn amazing on the Sony player.

Actually with the Zune Pass its quite the music player. Most reviews have already said with the pass its the better music player.
Sound quality has always been better on Zunes. The only thing lacking is the Apps. That's software and not hardware. Moreover the Apps Apple has are not owned by Apple and can end up on ANY PMP or phone at any time. Dumbass MS should release SDK to devs already
Hardware wise and build quality and battery life in general, the Zune HD beats the Ipod Touch...
This is not SOCOM or GRAW or COD4 or any other type of Shooter.
This is more realistic. One shot kills. This game is hard. Its real life combat. Hard. Massive.
If you are use to running and gunning like most FPS games. If you're use to some forgiveness in games like Socom and GRAW...Don't buy this game.

MGS4. KZ2. UC and soon to be UC2. Gears of War/Gears of War 2. Mass Effect and soon to be Mass Effect 2. Bio-shock and soon to be Bio-Shock 2. LBP. Crack Down(fun as hell to play. L4D (also fun as hell to play) IMO are all next generation. It goes beyond graphics.
The ONLY argument they can make at least in console terms is most games only run at 30f...
Lets see the pricing for this beast. If it hits in the $500+ range when it's released then its dead in the water before it hits because you know AMD's pricing strategies. They will discount the 5870 when this arrives and release the 5890 to compete with the 5870x2 in tow. Have to love competition. Keep them prices low!

4gb of Ram is now standard for buying PC's retail. It's no longer a luxury. Ram is also cheap now.
It all comes down to efficient coding.
This is why games near the and of a consoles life cycle look significantly better then games near the systems launch.
Progammers get better at the level of coding efficiency as time passes. That allows them to bring out the extra "power"

As of now that would set you back just under $200 and you can play Crysis Warhead which is the best looking game out for any system at near max levels. PC gaming is cheap. You just cant go to best buy and buy a system.

As for cost? You can buy a Radeon 4770 series that is actually twice the power if not more then the GPU inside the PS3 and Xbox360 and you can get it for under $100. Guess what? It plays Crysis at high levels at resoltuions of 1680x1050 with 4xAA. That's pretty damn good for that game for a price of $99 and running 4xAA. FarCry2 palys at 1920x1200 with 4xAA ru...
Most of the games are low production quality. The very reason some are free or the majority cost 99 cents or above.
You cannot compare these "games" if you want to call them that to games on real dedicated hand held systems.

Alan Wake as of now has no plans of hitting the PC. Until that happnes its only on the Xbox360. Regardless. I think MS could care less as they OWN bith platforms and its exclusive to MS. Same thing just more money for them.
