Why is it that every obvious Sony fanboy has the exact way of immaturely saying "teh cloud" or "powah of teh cloud" clearly shows the immaturity of some people, and it's pretty boring.
Agreed, all the games look fantastic.
All these articles about which console is better is getting boring, but I like to come in and check the comments to see the outrageous fanboyism on both sides, it's great.
@DeadPoolio, actually, finished my fourth year of college passing all my exams & standard tests.
I'm a fully qualified Electrician, and at the moment I work with a company installing Security systems.
I don't see why you have to get all defensive like you're too poor to own either console, get a grip, I wasn't boasting, just stating things, don't take it too personal. Such a child.
Both systems lose out but whatever.
Agreed, all this server migration during my couple of games a week on CoD is destroying it for me, I'd love to just play a small session of uninterrupted CoD
To be fair though, the amount of cash Activision makes the least they could do is fork some out for PC/PS4/PS3/360 dedi servers.
Only reason they are dedi for Xbox One is because Acti isn't having to pay for them as MS is.
Agreed, I think which ever console comes out with the exclusive content is the console I'll get each game for, respectively.
I'll enjoy both consoles and all exclusives, this year is an expensive one for me, but hey ho, I work, I play I get bitches.... lol
Dedicated servers has nothing to do with cloud computing.
It's just... how they're wording it to make the cloud seem more powerful.
PC's do the same thing, they use servers but cloud isn't mentioned at all.
I was baffled when they tweeted "CoD will have dedicated servers via the cloud"
Turns out they are giving Fifa 14 away with every pre order.
Especially for an Indie Dev, maybe Sony will change their mind to "compete".
I mean, the sheer amount of moola they're going to make off pre orders should at least cover giving dev kits to a few hundred indie devs.
Plus, 1-Year renting seems a little slim on time, especially if it's an ambitious indie game.
Ah well, it does state "Too begin with" which could mean weeks, months... whatever. I can imagine you'll have to submit a prototype to get established if you are one of the basement indie teams, just to show you're serious about publishing.
This could really work in microsofts favour, not really sure what Sonys stance on dev kits is.
But all in all, I hope both Sony & MS do free dev kits, would really kick start the next generation of indie games.
Looks good.
Will probably try it out unless it turns severely pay to win.
In my opinion, reviews are shit.
Everyone likes different things, one persons view on a game can totally put you off a game, because it shouldn't.
There's those types of games that are like a guilty pleasure, and don't lie, there's that game you'll constantly want to play but never tell anyone. honestly... stupid little games are the things I love. Beautiful Katamari for instance, that game a freaking sweet but I bet it didn't get good ...
I could care less about Mojangs games, never bought Minecraft so I could care less.
The fact is, he has a huge fanbase, says hes going to make another game and then completely blows it off, probably the same reason he stopped developing minecraft, he can't bothered.
@DCJ - He clearly stated he will be working on smaller games and states that if his team want to continue the game he stopped, they can, he doesn't care anymore.
So the way I see it is.
"I've made a hell of a lot of money and now I can't really be bothered to make games people care about."
What's sarcasm?
I know, these guys like to stay up LATE!
What time is that in Germany I wonder.
It was on Steams Community News, anyway, you know... stuff from indie devs etc, nothing to do with Valve.
Easy to tell it's not real.
"Dildo combo weapons"
I'm so down with that line it's totally gay.
