In my honest opinion, the controller layout on the Dualshocks is terrible, I don't get along with it at all, logical choice, buy the XB1. No point spending all that money on a console if I can't play it because of a stick layout.
Again, some people admire MS for trying to innovate, DRM wasn't that bad for some people.
HDMI - Technology moves on, so do companies, only real thing to do is ship with HDMI ports/cables. It's not exactly a backflip to embrace HD which is the norm for most households now.
WiFi - Again, technology, back when PS3/360's were released it wasn't a big deal, I didn't even know routers existed when PS3/360's were first released and most modems were stuck with 1/2 ethernet ports.
