I think both sides are getting their exclusivity deals next gen, getting kind of boring what with PS4's Destiny etc & Microsofts... everything, just needs to stop.
I'm assuming you didn't even read the article, the title is somewhat misleading.
Google & Microsoft are fighting to release statistics on how often the Government ask them for information.
Please do read an article before jumping to conclusions.

Pretty sure at this point if MS added a new game to the launch line-up it would be coined a 180 because it differs from their original announcements.
I hope cheats are phased out.
San Andreas was a much smaller game, had no online and thus cheats added a new way to play.
GTA IV was bland and mediocre at best, but it had online that you could hang out with, cheating made single player fun.
GTA V has a huge scale too it, dozens of vehicles to choose from and multiplayer which is looking very promising, certainly doesn't need cheats in my opinion.

Agreed, it seems REALLY odd that it suddenly works in 10 countries but damn, it isn't a 180 everytime they do something for good.
Isn't playstation home that thing full of microtransactions for clothing & furniture?
If they do bring it over, they need to at least add benefits for playing games into it, spending cash on virtual furniture isn't my thing but if I won some decent stuff in it, I might actually use it.

I'd be a little embarrassed if I'd spent millions on developing launch titles and it's a little arcade game that took the crown.
Both UI's do look brilliant.
I love the new look of the PS4's though, I hated what PS3 offered compared to the 360, but now both UI's look good enough to deliver on ease of use,
I'm not embarrassed about anything :)
