I’m going to take a wait and see approach to this one. It’s going to be the first time I’m not preordering a Final Fantasy mainline game. Have Crises Core on preorder as I really want that steelbook and, well, you know what you getting with that game. Interestingly enough Dragon Quest XI sold really well for a turn based game but I think Squares decision was based on how well FFXV sold.

This game is being developed by Bloober. Let the XBOX people have this out of the gate…based on the developers track record I’m not holding my breath for anything great.

It was an eye opener. It’s currently tied with FF7 Remake as my favourite ps4 game of all time.
I can’t wait. The 2018 game converted me to the franchise. I went back and played all of them afterwards.

Called it. And they wasted the Court of Owls on this crap game? Should have stuck to the Damien Wayne concept and made a proper Arkham game. Instead they tried to cash in on a poorly optimised rush job. Oh well, perhaps suicide squad can make up for this.
Public participation is part of the process when a deal could potentially have such a massive impact on an industry. In other words it’s a legal box that has to be ticked in case any party cries foul that it was not done when the decision is rendered.
It is anti consumer knowing that piece of hardware will become redundant within a timeframe that a consumer reasonably expects it to offer what it was advertising it does. Consoles are not PCs and cellphones. You can’t escape the generational model despite what bullshit Microsoft spouts. People always said that this would happen when the Series S was announced and its why Sony stuck to same specs with their PS5 models.
Is Microsoft seriously trying to make a case out of Sony fostering development houses and working side by side with them thereby cultivating an environment where their games are released on schedule and are of a high quality. Sony then takes them into their stable and gives them intellectual freedom to pursue their projects. Because that’s the exact opposite of what Microsoft does, look at Rare, and that why don’t have any new AAA and highly polished games for their XBOX consoles. So they wan...
They need to actually develop and release high profile games first.
Most of its games are on the Switch. Just waiting on Xenoblade Chronicles X

@Orchard what do you mean Sony didn’t go bankrupt in the PS3 era? As I recall the PS3 went on to outsell the XBOX 360 and took second place during that generation after the Wii. Even at their worst and Microsoft at their best Sony has kicked their direct competitor’s backside.
